I thought about this and I prefer the way it was. I have a handful of baby photos to look at, some of them have a little story at the back of the photo. But today’s parents take thousands of photos/videos of their kids every year and those kids will never have the time to see all of them when they grow up. We live in an “excessive” society, some things are just too much and we need to take a step back.

Also, you're not cool if the number of people you follow is bigger than the number of people following you. I feel like those unwritten rules apply less and less the older people get, but it remains a problem. That has many parallels to other "class" systems of the past, that humanity luckily got rid of. Again, I'm only describing what I've witnessed in my environment...

I've always wanted to be an influencer. You wake up in the morning, quite late, have breakfast and start influencing for a couple of hours. Then you take lunch, then you take a nap and after that influence for another hour. What a life!

Thank God I was born in 1968 and got to see life through the 70’s, 80’s and yes, kind of the 90’s. This world we live in today, I don’t even recognize it.

My mom went to New York City recently with my neice for a feild trip and these "influencers" were posing and taking videos in the street pretending to be genuine and in the moment and then would do it like 20 more times. She said it was so weird, i almost never see that in Maryland where i live.

They got mad at the deadlift pic because that guy can't lift it to another spot 😂

That's actually the only thing I disagree with. Every generations has had its load of narcisist, its only more visible now thanks to the internet. Even before photography was invented they used to commission painters to make portraits of them, standing still for hours for multiple days, holding a sword to show their strenght, in their study to show their intelligence.... To be able to put it at the entrance of their house so that each of rheir guests can see how great they are and validate them.
