As an 80s kid, when I heard her twist on Twisted Sister, I was blown away. Nandi is a star.

Been a drummer for 45yrs, this girl is Off the chain Excellent, she will Definitely be on stage with a band and making stacks of cash... and her personality is fantastic.

I loved this! I got to see a drummer create their own part from scratch. So much better than "What if So-and-so did such-and-such guitar solo", because it is still based on the classic solo. In this case the drummer isn't influenced by anything but a drumless song, which is very different. I look forward to more videos like this.

I love what she played on the hi-hat, and the way she carried that pattern through. Great performance!

I had a smile the whole video. I was blown away. Her arrangement gives this song such new life and the use of the cowbell was genius level. Dee Snider HAS to see this video and you guys need to tape his reaction. I've said it on other videos but this is a must. Have Dee AND Dave Grohl watch it.

she is a multi instrumentalist player (guitar, bass, drums, piano). She started really young and has amassed fans in her IG and tiktok with her versions of many songs. Really cool to watch this girl growing from nowhere to playing with foo fighters live.

She got exponentially better in like 1 year. She was always good....but she is getting insane now.

Her voice sounds so young.... her playing is beyond! I'm so impressed! She did such a badass job!

Grew up on this band, especially this song, and I am absolutely obsessed with her choices with the cowbell. Loved it so much.

She picked an 80’s song and brought it right to 2023. Amazing. ❤

You know when something gives you the chills? Usually happens once and then passes? This is chills after chills after chills. Amazing & unbelievably talented.

Oh my goodness! I am such a Nandi fan. Her talent is utterly spectacular. And she's just such a lovely human being ❤❤❤ I wish her all the very best, the world can offer!!

She effin' killed it! Her interpretation of the cowbell was amazing! I was super impressed. I'm not as surprised now, to see how Foo Fighters identified her skill... so long ago. This was incredible. No offense to Twisted Sister... but, I think she really turned it up to "11".

Her cowbell rhythm was sick and her fills were amazing. She fell into the halftime swing pocket well although it was shaky in and out. I think she was playing the drums on the song and not in the song if that makes sense. Im excited to check her out in her comfort zone.

I’m a metal guitarist. For forty years played with a million drummers. She absolutely has it. And her high work is WOWZER! Nice work kiddo!

Nandi is adorable in every way. High Energy, great personality and already a pro at such a young age. Definitely someone to look up to.

I grew up listening to this song on the radio, and enjoyed it. Nandi made this song 100% better, zero contest. /AMAZING talent

Her cowbell section was awesome!

What I love about Nandi and seeing her play is how enthusiastic she is. You can see the passion oozing alongside that skill and talent she possesses. Makes me all emotional watching her in her element like that!

Did you see when she got so into it that her eyes rolled back in head. She just became one with the song. Loved every minute of it.

I am blown away by the talent displayed by this young lady.

I got the chance to watch her live at Young Voices 2024 last month in Birmingham UK and she is an absolutely insane drummer for 13 years old. To be at this level at this age is incredible. Her composition for this song was outstanding.

The amount of talent Nandi has is insane! I can definitely see her go far in her career.

I think what you can really tell is that she is a) incredibly talented but also b) still has the fearlessness of young people. In her play, she explores, tries things and takes risks that a lot of more seasoned drummers wouldn't because we're often set in our ways already.

I cried! You're awesome, Nandi! Keep practicing and you will be MAGIC! SUPER GIRL POWER!

AJ Pero was a criminally underrated drummer. Lots of people are unaware at how good he really was.

Twisted Sister in general were underrated. You Can't Stop Rock & Roll & Stay Hungry are great early 80s rock albums. The more poppy sound got them noticed though and is all most people remember. It doesn't help that they cemented that image with their follow-up albums.

Imagine how good she is going to be at 20 or 30. She is absolutely nailing it.

@@samuelhall4056 Yeah she's clearly got a lot of skill but she needs to work on her timing and make sure it fits the song - I feel like this is a common issue with Internet drummers - it's all about being flashy and showing off, which is great for views on tiktok but far less important in an actual band than being able to keep time and play with other musicians. No hate to her at all, she's still young and has a lot of time to work on that stuff, and her skills are impressive considering her age, she just needs to work on the fundamentals alongside the stuff she's already good at

@@telanis9 She's extremely talented. Example: I'm a bassist and When I was 15, all I wanted to do was run up and down the neck as fast as possible. When I got into my 20's I learned to slow down and let things breathe. She'll learn that too overtime.

I'm an 80s, kid graduated in 84. That was great. That was one of the cool things I've ever. Scene.

Her approach brings such a late 90s/early 00s pop-punk vibe to the whole song. If that version were released in that era, it still would have been a hit.

Her jazz sensibilities are very apparent. It's like hearing Neil Peart's take on Twisted Sister. Can't wait to see where she goes. Incredible talent.

She is an absolute prodigy! The future of music is safe with people like her in the world. And I didn’t know the that this song needed cowbell!

I grew up in the '80's. I love both.

All I can picture is the big smile that Dee Snider will have on his face when he eventually hears this. Her talent level is so insane and her drive to make it perfect when no one expects her to be perfect.

Absolutely blown away by the incredible drumming skills of this young drummer! It's truly impressive to witness such talent at such a young age. I can only dream of reaching her level of mastery on the drums. The precision, timing, and energy she brings to her performance are truly remarkable. A true inspiration for aspiring drummers like myself!

So glad to see Nandi moving upwards. I remember when she wanted the drum off with Dave I reached out to Mark Shulman to see if he could help. Can’t say if he did or not but soon after, they were drumming across the globe with a drum off. Such a good young talent Nandi is. Happy for ya Nandi. Stay humble, play hard the world is your oyster.

Man she has progressed. Her fills are so clean. Some serious talent.

That was phenomenal. You can see how Nandi's taken all of the lessons from Chad Smith and Dave Grohl to heart. So happy to hear her keeping rock alive. I'd say her drums worked better in places than the original track, she had more fills and had some double kick in places. One of the best in this series.

SHE SHREDS!!!! I love the hat work and sick chops. I can hear that she has a good understanding of knowing how to accent the song in a way that's helping vs taking away from it. As she develops she'll get even better than the already strong foundation she has.

She actually made that drum part sound so much better in some places. Nice to see the young talent, great job Nandi and Brandon you are doing a great job hosting these.
