Namkai Norbu - Selected Teachings and Pointers for Meditation - Dzogchen

Chögyal Namkhai Norbu (1938-2018) was a Tibetan Dzogchen master. When he was two years old, Namkhai Norbu was recognized as the 'mindstream emanation', a tulku, of the Dzogchen teacher Adzom Drugpa (1842-1924). At five, he was also recognized as a mindstream emanation of an emanation of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel (1594-1651). From an early age, Namkhai Norbu undertook an accelerated course of study, attending monastic college, taking retreats, and studying with renowned teachers, including some of the most important Tibetan masters of his time.

This teaching has moved me more profoundly than anything else ever has. I have listened many times and each phrase has so much depth and such clear and powerful insight. My Sister, your recitation reflects your profound understanding and makes the teaching come alive in me. I cannot thank you enough, I cannot give you enough....with tears in my eyes and heartfelt gratitude I (once again) thank you for this gift.

I have been listening to this channel for a little while now... I have received so much in the way of instruction and the experience of acceptance and letting go - and after having just listened to this video for the first time, I have to say - it is beautiful. The words are really beyond even trying to describe - which is quite the intent, when one considers it. Thank you, again.

Your knowledge of it is, but the universe beyond our experience of it is not the point being made. Where do all phenomena, your thoughts, feelings and sense perceptions, arise from? Turn your mind's attention on their origin and you will find nothing there but a boundless spaciousness, empty of individual self-existing things. That is the point. Practice Dzogchen meditation and you will get the point.

Another idea: This is really all about your perception of reality and where reality comes from. If you can recognize that reality does not originate from a self, but instead from an unknowable void, you will recognize that everything ascribed to God/Buddha is actually within you and projected from you. It is the essential nature of your mind. Dzogchen teachings are the best teachings ever. 🙏🦚🙏

@@ericr385 Sorry, you are saying (more or less) what i said above. In my experience, everyday, always, i have been realizing such profound things, like: Empeatness, Almost No Toughts, Infinity sensations, Peace, Silence, Bliss. It is: Samadi. There are not words to describe all that. Just who realize that, knows what i want to explain. The fist time that i started feeling such things like that, i was scared. But, litle by litle, i started to read books and watched many vídeos on KZread. Litle by litle, i was learning about Enlightement and Enlighteneds. Now i know why i am here on this Planet. My Guru is my SELF. But i have been learning with everybody. Thank You and Samaneri.
