Wonderful Tamil preparation.. പല പരിമിതികൾക്കുള്ളിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ ഞാനിത് ചെയ്തു ..recipe കടുകിടെ follow ചെയ്തു .. Got Chana dal from neighbourhood north Indian students. Used കുടമ്പുളി instead of tamarind..and also only the big type brinjal was available here..and I added coconut also while frying as you suggested. Anyway it turned out to be a good ennai kathirikai kulambu..thank you dear for introducing this tamilian recipe
