Okay onto the way I made my own video to get some insight.
For Maribelle I wanted to start her out as the draw in to the whole animatic, she is such a sad villain, but also so endearing so I needed her to lead the audience in with every movement she made. The camera belonged to her when she moved.
Then to Gallad, shout out to my girlfriend for doing the tap dancing for me. This gross milk drinker was someone I wanted to be so excited to be on screen and tell everyone about his lord and savior Thiala. With his thin dancer like actions I thought that him actually performing to the boobs would be fun, it makes it all the more wonderfully gruesome when his death finally shows.
The big bad of the animatic, Akarot. The way I made Akarot's section was completely different than what I choose to do for any other. All the villains are moving the camera around, playing with the audience, and moving quickly. Akarot does not, he never looks toward the camera, all his movements are precise and decided. His section should be looked at and feel afraid. When Beverly appears before him in the flames it is the happy young boy he thinks of, not the hardened warrior who hates him in reality. He ends up transforming into different forms of himself including the one who through the knife to pass time before finally getting to Bev sr where I cut off the audio for an extra beat to give a breather.
Before we pop right back up with our favorite man the bear prince. The Tris' are his muses singing about his greatness and generally being the only likable thing about him while he is also there. Halfway through did I realize he was not an actual bear and have to fix that? Maybe.
Duddle is a little gross gremlin who's section is as short as his life. Since he is such a minor character I chose to focus more on Gunkbug who this arc was really about along with some fun references.
Man do I love drawing these vampires. MAN do I love drawing these stupid vampires. The problem may be that Scarlet died very quickly, so I chose to instead show off the effect she had on hardwon's mind for the whole arc.
Finally, the villain who had a surprisingly small fight for how much I hurt from it, Ezra. Whats more to say then, man is those snap shots painful and I wanted you to feel a quick punch to the gut every second of that part.

DUDE the original was literally the first naddpod animatic i watched and one of my favorites to this day i’m literally so excited you did this. it’s so cool to see what of your style changed and stayed the same, and the same with your designs for the characters this looks SO GREAT.

I’d imagine this is Akarot from ep. 37, or directly after 37, given the fireplace and suit, as well as the Bev obsession.
My favorite Naddpod animatic, redone! Amazing! That end frames with Thiala with “Be prepared” in the background?? Incredible. I love it. The symbolism. All of the other villains are just the stepping stones to her. I love what you’ve done with this!

God i just, i dont know how to explain this, but i had shivers, cause i didn’t just listen to the podcast, i lived it, there is bo way to explain how enjoyable this was to watch after finally having fully finished the first campaign (i listened to the second one first by accident) and the things i begin to remember, where we cried and hurt, or where a laughed and felt joy, this podcast is something i hope will go on for a while
Incredible, show-stopping, fantastic. I literally just got into NADDPOD about a month ago (I’m on about Episode 81ish now and it’s gotten INTENSE, I’m both excited and scared for what’s coming up ), and thought I’d poke around and see what the community had made. I’m so glad that I happened to time it well enough that this animatic was one of said things! Seriously, great job - this is so well made. I love your character designs, especially your Beverly! He really is just a small lad who absolutely *radiates* boy scout energy, it’s great.

THAT'S MY BABY LETS GO Listen I know I could just text you more over discord about how much I adore this and how much I'm screaming over it but I want other people to know literally how amazing all of this is and how hard you've been working on this Okay first off, the movement on the first "Poor Unfortunate Souls" gives me so much life, the facial expressions are just _chefs kiss_, and it's a precursor to every single one because Holy *shit* babe every bit of the faces have a precise emotion to them and it's just perfect. Also I love Beverly the entire time, save him. She comes off so motherly, which is terrifying for a villain of her caliber. Also the titty jiggle into "Move Harlot" still makes me crack up Next, hey wow that choreography is amazing would love to talk to the person who did it ;) In all seriousness though thank you for letting me help you with that, I had legit so much fun. Your directions on what you were looking for gave a super cool feel to the dance and the amount of movement that's visible in every frame is amazing and you captured it so precisely!!! Also the very first two frames??? Idk what it is about them but on god I can't get over how pretty that man looks. As always, "Gun" is phenomenal and i'm so glad you kept it i would have cried if you had tried to draw an actual gun. The whole last part is a little funny but his facial expression before he dies? Fucking chilling Oh god. Fucking hell. Every ounce of the art for this song chills me to the bone. I know part of it is because he looks like a certain someone from your character's backstory but he is just so sharp, and angry, and _terrifying_. The way he steps on and walks through the shadows of the Boobs kills me and I am just stuck watching. And _Beverly_, the way you portray him and the almost nervous look the villain has before you show him is amazing. The transition from the idealized to the real shows the sheer dissonance and I just, I'm sobbing. The lich...ification? to the shaking of his hand, just...please. I want to eat it. _Ahem_. Tiddy. This one is super silly and it's a wonderful deviation from the last song's setting!!! I love the bear ass (not in that way but no judgement) and the exploding goblins, it genuinely gives such goofy fun and from what you've told me of this villain it just fits so well. Also when she's looking down?? Perspective is fucking phenomenal, 10/10 would be stepped on again. It was so funny when you told me that you didn't know he wasn't an actual bear, but on god, the transition is super cool kjhejksd He's very pretty even in his Chad moment, that swell cleft in his chin (like Gaston) is amazing Anyway my what a guy that (insert villian name here) Okay can I just say that those pillars are super cool???? Hello??? Now I know this old man is a villain but like, cmon, look at hims. He's a gramps. Again, the expressions are out of the goddamn park. You did an amazing joke between the innocence of the glasses lad and how you can just barely see the gentle annoyance under the villain's eyes. The details are small but so visible and it shows the love you put into this "The plague!" "No!" *"Yes."* "_Gasp._" "_Bazinga_" Every time. I'm in absolute stitches I can't get away from it Also the new parts that you drew are awesome!!! Look at that monster guy I love him Now for the next bit, god was I certainly ready for everything and _holy_ shit. The way you draw Brian David Gilbert's (if I remember correctly) character is stunning, and the looks of horror on everyone's faces is just as amazing. Watching Hardwon transform- you can absolutely feel it, and I just, _aaaaaa_ The shadows??? I cannot get over how you did such a good job with them while keeping it simple, they're so _clean_. The way you use their dynamics with Hardwon and the poses you give both of them are just stunning, and they really give the vibe of someone who's lost control of themselves. It's amazing, and the sheer anger and feral on their faces are awesome, I love every part of this scene. Boy oh boy. Mommy? Not sorry. Mommy? No- 💥 So anyway What a _horrifying_ depiction. I love her. Even in the first few seconds you can feel the malice coming off of her, and it's wonderful. The different character scenes, the transitions? You can feel every single one of their emotions, and _god_ do I feel them. This has such a different vibe from the rest, there's just sheer apathy and that is so _tough_ to portray without making someone look blank or neutral, and the way you do it shows the difference in how each character feels and expresses that emotion. I know I'm just nerding out over my major here but like _Agh_, hand in marriage. Each person's fears are so well portrayed, and it shows so much improvement because I remember your last one you used the words and you can see every single descriptor in art form now. Also, the color change, and the change in expression when they break out? Currently chomping. It's stunning. I don't know who that angel is at the end cause I'm still on like episode 13 (And I need to not be I keep forgetting to listen) but holy shit hello I just, I'm still watching the animatic and I want to take every part of it into a gentle hug. I know I see your art very often but every chance I get to see the shit you do just, brings me so much excitement. You worked super hard on this and it came out absolutely amazing. Anyway I'm sorry for the long comment but hi babe I love you!!! Your skills and dedication to your craft never cease to amaze me 💖 Everyone who watches this, go fucking appreciate this now (please and thank you)

The ReDo!!!!!!!!! Oh my goddd, you can really see how much your style has evolved since the first video (which i watched so often that i know every word to this song now and was able to sing along). My new favorites are 0:27 Mirabelle miming with her hand Bev talking "Spells Ursula please" 0:42 "A shiny new era is tiptoe-ing nearer" and Gallad doing doing the stretchy leg (also so cool how Moonshine grabs his ankle and looks properly annoyed). I really like Fallads new design as well, the hair gives me rose of versailles vibes, i love it. (Also the Move Harlot *chefs kiss*) Also Akarots new design has a more of a orc vibe for me this time - it's probably the jawline and the nose along with the dark hair and the thick eyebrows. His current body someone Orc from Asmodeus?? Freckles for Bev senior!!!! 2:45 HELLO BEAR PRINCE IS ACTUALLY HOT!!!! shoutout to Triss throwing the honey goblin away !! PROFESSOR DUTTLE REDESIGN HE HAS A LITTLE TAIL NOW!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSS The thing you did with the Vampires. i have no words. what an amazing visual to have them be solid black. that looks sooo good. 4:12 THE CHESTHAIR And oh god, I just rewatched the old video to compare the old designs and now I also noticed that it's not just the artstyle but also the animation!! it's so much more dynamic and it has smooth transitions like with 4:17. The old version has been my fav naddpod animation and to have this get a style update

not to spam you, but i forgot to add how more background is in this !!! and it really adds to the ambiance. especially now that every villain gets an establishing shot of the entire scene; really helps to settle it to where this happened in the podcast.

I've been coming back and rewatching this for weeks now, I was so late to getting into NADDPOD but I haven't been able to stop coming back to this video... So many of my friends, even those who haven't listened to the podcast, can tell you how much I talk about how great your art style is. I just love this video so much, you're incredibly talented

THIS IS PURE GOLD Here are the “OH MY GOD” moments in the animatic when I wanna scream. 0:46 or the entire Galad section, especially the last shot of him before the axe LIKE A BADASS, HARDWON 3:46 I think that’s Ol’ Cob? Not sure, I’m very late to Naddpod and only in ep like 58 but damn I love that drawing IM PRETTY SURE ITS COB IM GONNA SAY ITS COB Ok it’s not Cob it’s Deadeye. Slightly disappointed but Deadeye is still cool af Now naturally the entire Ezra sequence but these parts stood out to me 4:30 - 4:40 4:42 - 5:00 5:01 - 5:04 everyone lives it, you can r heat it into my veins OMLLL ITS SO FREAKING GOOD AWHHH YOUR TALENT AND THE TIMING AND THE CORRELATION OF SONG TO ART IS IMMACULATE IF I COULD DO THAT EVEN HALF AS WELL YOU MASTERMIND

Im having trouble figuring out who the people are at the end for beverly's "poor unfortunate souls", like i see erlin and egwene, and maybe martha toegold? Im not sure who the two behind erlin are tho, are they derlin and cran?
