Nacho March 2024: 5-week update

This past week I had a chance to film one of our stamina/strength sessions. Once or twice a week I like to play with Nacho on the hill to increase his muscle, endurance and balance.
Not only is this a great way for him to stay focussed on his footing, but it also reduces the time needed to get him to threshold effort. With a young horse I don't like doing too many circles and lunging. This way I can still get some cardio done, without having to run myself or spend hours hiking next to him.
I did sit on him one more time and started with some freestyle skills under saddle (or barebackpad in our case). We also made progress on our dressage in hand and did our first solo 'hack' in hand. I'm really happy with our prgress.
