😎I don't do trailer loadings very often anymore (by choice), but this was a special case from an old client with a new pony. The story was that he would rear up when unloading and his general trailer experience hasn't been that good. They want to be able to load him alone and for him to be relaxed in the trailer.
🧐This was our third session. Our first couple of sessions I found him head shy and hard to yield to pressure. He had trouble going through gates and small spaces. So we started with those basics. He's a funny guy; when his fear subsides, he becomes dominant and even a bit agressive.
😍He's getting better every session and I think he just needs one more session with me and then the owners can keep practicing. I hope you enjoyed this little detour from my usual work.
