Basic? He's doing everything to such a high level. Defensively - the tackles, the positioning, the anticipation. Not only that he's very good with the ball. If it were so basic there'd be many players who can do what he can do, but there are none. In the same way it's art to see Messi make a pass or a dribble to see a player play defensively like that is art too.

you have no clue about defense then. You only need to watch a minute of this video to see his class. His positioning, tactical awareness, how he anticipates opponents movements and his tackling ability are incredible.
