Victoria is an absolutely incredible player. Just imagine if she was like this in her original appearance in 2005... She would've been EXTREMELY difficult to topple!

Congrats to Victoria for getting her first win. As much as I love Andrew He, I predict that either Amy or Victoria has a good shot at winning it all. If Victoria wins, it will be exciting to see a potential spirited battle between Victoria Groce and James Holzhauer, given Holzhauer is a beast when it comes to true Daily Doubles.

And the last time a champion won $52,001 was Andrew He, when he wore a burgundy suit. Victoria Groce won $52,001 and Andrew's wearing the same burgundy suit (just a different tie)! 😮 Victoria Groce is also the first giant killer to score over $50,000! The previous record was Emma Boettcher who won $46,801 the game she beat James Holzhauer.

Actually, $50,000 is the highest non runaway score, set by Ike Barinholtz in the 2021 Celebrity Jeopardy tournament. Second place was Patton Oswalt at $36,000.

But, let’s not forget that Celebrity Jeopardy has three rounds with different cash amounts for the questions. So, it’s not a level playing field. Not to mention the questions are way easier.

I suspected the answer, but wasn't sure until the responses started coming in. Also, being familiar with mythology isn't an indication that you need a life. Being hyper-focused on the minutae of any given form of entertainment (sports, anime, Broadway musicals, what have you) means you need to get a life.

I'm happy to say, I got this; you know how you know the answer- it's right on the tip of your tongue, but you can't get the answer out? 😉 But, halfway through 'Think'... Eureka!😊. Then, of course I had 2nd thoughts _ maybe it's The Riddle of the Sphinx?🤔 Nah... Greek - definitely Gordian Knot.🤗😁

It was one of the easiest Final Jeopardy that I've seen in a while. I was thinking about famous people around the time of 333 BC. First person that came to mind was Alexander the Great. I thought about his achievements and that is how I got to the correct response about the Gordian Knot.

Fun fact: $12,000 is the highest Daily Double wager Amy Schneider ever made! Her previous was $9,000 in her 12th game. Overall, I've been impressed by Amy's gameplay in this tournament!

No surprise that Victoria scored $52K today. They say she's one of the best quizzers on the planet.
