@@TacticoolVIKINGBeard They entered into a predatory deal with Wildcard, which (if I'm remembering correctly) left them as the only company that could legally host Ark Ascended servers. But the money Nitrado gave them for the deal was supposedly the only way for Wildcard to release the game in time. There was also a claim that if you were hosting a private server, you would need one license of Ark Ascended for each map you wanted to host. I'm not 100% sure if that's still accurate or not, since I haven't paid attention to all of the Ark crap in a while.

From the start of 9:29 to 10:00 I can only imagine what Appsro face looked like making that sound for 30 sec straight 🤣😂🤣🥲

Nitrado is a nightmare to work with lol, honestly cant think of a single server host that isnt ever since it became a thing. But glad they gave you guys a little cash.

An Oasisaur is a creature exclusive to scorched earth I believe for the time being. So I do not believe animal resurrection is achievable on the island.

Nitrado fucked up and deleted our family Valheim server. Especially sucked because the person running it forgot to do any backups.

​@@Fang.1 I literally built by GF a 2000 gaming PC just so we could move away from Xbox ark that exclusively uses Nitrado servers. They setup THREE server in a row that woukdt save engram's. I wouldnt been accept 6 months of free server hosting for my time. Like being given a used car for free that has no engine.

@@therexyogaming I’m not sure that’s entirely true. I think some of the logic is correct. A percentage of fans will see these comments and have a worse outlook on the company Nitrado as a result. Which honestly is a good thing. However, I don’t think it is net negative for them. They’ve planted themselves neatly in the mind of the viewer, in a video that certainly will encourage some percentage of viewers to want to play again. Because they are the only server provider for ascended- should a viewer want to play with friends without tether distance they are the only option, an option now more likely to come to mind. (There servers are also insanely expensive month to month so they wouldn’t even need to entice many people to make their money back in theory) The issue is no matter what they’ll be making profit from anyone playing or encouraging others to play. That’s the problem with them having a monopoly- the only way to really boycott them is for no one to buy servers and no one to make content. Which of course is unrealistic. So considering this is the reality, the next best course is to continuously bash them any where they are seen and to encourage content creators to not take sponsorships from them.

very much so. They are costly, don't work for all games (palworld for example iirc is compatible w/ em), & helped fund ASA but wanted a monopoly on sevrs for it which is scummy

Before I continue watching, I'll just say that, if this version of ARK works the same as the first one, you can build a raft on the water, and then build whatever you want on the raft, regardless of enemy foundations nearby. So you could build a raft and then build a boarding platform off of the raft, and then just float it up behind the tower there to get onto the platform around the base of the tower. If you stay close to the wall, you can probably run around the front fast enough to get underneath the turret's support platform where it doesn't have line of sight, and then just run in the front door, assuming it's open. Let's see how this goes...

​​​@@millaganwillagain yes and only nitrado can do that. No other game server hosting site is allowed to host that. Since they are the only one who can host it, they can price it whatever they want. While it's technically not a monopoly since there is an alternative, but the alternative isn't very appealing as well. Since you have to buy a second game to host a server on your own. Either way you get played as a consumer. You are not given a choice, you are given an ultimatum and no one wants that. Both snail games and nitrado are oozing with greed on this decision

Capitalism is also the consumer staging a boycott forcing the company to release the server files for private hosting. Capitalism worked. Also, Nitrados monopoly is not the issue. Kta that they provide the worst server hosting known to man. They setup THREE ark servers in a row for me trying because they wouldnt save engram's. 2 weeks lol. They offered me like 6 months free server hosting for my time. They offered me a free server that didnt work lol. I documented the whole thing and posted it on trustpilot as well. I built my GF a 2000 taking PC just so we could stop using Xbox cross play servers(nitrado exclusive). Nitrado is Spanish for hot garbage.

I'm opposed to a shady company who doesn't deserve it earning money off of Neebs Gaming's back. Due to the exclusive rights signed to Nitrado regarding server hosting, yes, anybody wishing to have their own non-locally hosted dedicated private server MUST use Nitrado until said contract expires.

Keep in mind because of the cosmetic skins, just because a door looks like it's wood it doesn't have to be. The one on the tower is stone, you can tell by the materials required to repair. It could have been metal.

I been noticing through the series that you guys accidentally turn off fires and forges and such... if you hit "F" on keyboard, Square/X on controller you can access inventories directly and it works for everything, like creatures, boxes, and benches... Btw if you guys wanna level up quickly, find explorer notes for the xp boosts they give and then kill whatever u find or craft a bunch to give u xp.
