While it's wonderful to join Tony, it's a delight to see Phil.

Hey, it's Phil Harding! Y'all are together again. This is a great series. And then the end of the poem... profound.

Ooh a nice hike with Tony through the lovely countryside and having an informative chat along the way. I find my mind drifts along the timeline wondering what long passed people saw and did as they traveled; how the journey must've made them feel. It's nice to put aside the hustle of modern life and just reflect on the nature surrounding you.

Grimes Graves, Tony and Phil, someone's idea of paradise. Phil inspired new generations to explore flint knapping and more. So wonderful to see the reunion at Grimes Graves.

Oh it was a joy to hear Phil's delightful accent. Such a great show too. As a Canadian, I know so little about the UK's history and countryside life, and well Tony makes such a delightful travelling companion.

Only Phil Harding could wax lyrical about flint. He'd love Ohio, USA, where the state gemstone is flint. (No, really -- look it up.)

I can't help but think I am listening to Hagrid, keeper of keys of Hogwarts, when Phil is speaking. Phil has the same enthusiasm for rocks and dirt and history, as Hagrid had (has) for magical creatures.

If you touch hogweed you can get severe burns, rashes and blisters! At least the stuff around here!

  • @ralphtroan

There's a difference between hogweed, which is native to UK, and Giant Hogweed which is an alien plant from the Caucasus region and brought into UK in 1911 so I understand. Ordinary hogweed is quite harmless, but Giant Hogweed is to be avoided at all costs as just touching it can result in severe burns.

Why destroy a good series with some mumbo jumbo like dowsing! There is absolutely no proof of it working or even indications anything. It’s like being convinced Santa exist and the flat earth society is about science. Sad that Tony gets involved in this, believe it was once on time team also, correct me if I am wrong below.
