Nettle the dog was an absolute delight! What a happy dog! Couldn't care less about the history but just chuffed to be outdoors in a walk with friends in a beautiful spot.

I'm always amazed to understand something new and interesting about England. To live on an island nation that has over 400,000 years of human history, it's no wonder it has inspired writers for hundreds of years. With all the legends, folklore, stories, and amazing archeological evidence how can you not allow your imagination to run wild.

I love this series. I’m American and I think it would be amazing to walk these paths. British weather would be a blessing when walking that long I think.

I do think that the apple snail would have been introduced by other than the romans. They didn't eat meat but mainly ate onions on campaigns.

I would never thow metal coins into such a beautiful tree. That was disgusting. I suppose those were magic coin that won't corrode and poison the tree?

That's why they used a silver coin. The tree will do more damage to the coin than the coin will do to the tree. I doubt the coin is even touching wood since the tree is completely hollow. Plus they got permission from the caretaker to film there, so that person will probably go take out the coin once they've finish filming.

Hey Tony that's not the EU that's the French Coastline a member state of the EU. And I am so grateful that England left the EU because people like you seem to phrase it is some unified country when it's just the economic and Military unification. And so far complete disaster
