I’ve been dashing for around 3 years and because i don’t typically don’t accept trash orders my acceptance rate has been way below 70% for a good majority of the time I’ve been a dasher. Since I don’t have the option to dash anytime I like to schedule my dashes a week out to ensure that I’ll been able to dash when I want to. Also I cancel orders that have a long wait time unless it’s superrrr slow. Doordash recently added a feature where if the wait time is excessive they’ll allow you to cancel the order without it affecting your completion rate but if that isn’t offered and I’m ready to move on to another order i just hit the little question mark in the top right corner and proceed with the given prompts to cancel the order. Oh my gosh! That is super helpful. I'll remember that tip for the next time that comes up. Yeah, I scheduled a dash for 3 hours once and then something came up so I had to cancel. I'm very spontaneous when it comes to doordash. Haha! And, congrats for sticking with it for 3 years! That's amazing! You must be doing well on it. :)

It's super interesting seeing it from the delivery drivers point of view, seems like door dash could do with updating a few flaws in the system, but they seem to lean towards the customers service being top rather than the drivers, it's a shame they can't take some feedback to improve it, it would help both the driver and customers x

I agree! They do have a button saying, 'restaurant busy' and I pushed that both times and still my percentage went down so didn't really help me. Thanks so much for watching!

I didn't realise that people sitting in a car means your a doordash driver, thanks for explains that as I thought people in a car just might mean people be going somewhere but now I know.......yet another idiot desperate for attention on social media.....choices
