  Testimony time! the Lord has been speaking to me that faith without works is dead so today I was out shopping and I saw this purse I said oh Lord I like that He said give away yours so I left the store and God put a woman in my path that did not have a bag and I asked her if she would like mine she said I like it but I have no money and I gave it to her. Later on the same day I walked by a fender bender and both men did not speak very good english so I helped them file their claim when we were done they gifted me the price of the bag. You truly can't make this stuff up! I love Him so much!

  Goodwill is so expensive now. My goodwill (keep in mind in an area which is not very wealthy) is selling target crop tops which retail for 5$ at 7.98, and a coat for 98$ its ridiculous at this point.

  Please don't support Salvation Army. They have campaigned against LGBTQ issues for years. (Decriminalisation of same sex relationships, no benefits for spouses) and refused to shelter a trans woman, causing her death.

  Gabe's is like a t.j Maxx store kind of and the Goodwill store have gotten outrageous on their prices. That's why I quit going in ours closed due to that reason.

  Do we have to drop prices 10% Fri. AND another 10% Sun if item doesn't sell? Or relist, jack up the price to normal on Sat. then drop 10% Sun?

  That's more petty than goodwill and frankly unacceptable. Someone should do something and call corporate and correct the store managment..salvation army needs to take their name and their origins seriously and show some integrity. It's probably cause there's nothing left to put on the shelves when workers are taking everything home.

  Goodwill is all second hand but with the tag of something brand new. Most the time I see an item with the original tag almost always is the goodwill tag more expensive.

  To have the audacity to comment on your money going to the poor when part of goodwill was so that people who dont have the funds can get something "new" not so people who could afford otherwise shop the good stuff and sell for profit

  Goodwill has fallen due to corporate greed, it doesn't serve the poor anymore. Resellers have nothing to do with the prices increasing at Goodwill. Goodwill gets the items for free and chooses themselves how to price them. That argument is lazy and illogical.

  @@amberb7881Resellers have a huge part In it. It’s the gentrification of thrift shopping instead of neighborhoods. Resellers are willing to pay more for items because they have the means to do so. Think about private equity buying houses and driving up the prices so families can’t afford to buy a house. There’s also a supply and demand factor. People who normally wouldn’t shop at goodwill do. You don’t seem to know how economics work. Hope this helps!!

  I was told that they don't offer discounted shipping on all of your items. I went back and forth with customer service about this because nowhere in the fine print does it mention that. I asked if there was some way to know which items in your closet would qualify, nope. Here is their legal mumbo-jumbo "The current shipping promotion is given at random and is based on a complex algorithm that our system uses based on multiple variables. This means that sellers are unable to offer this shipping promotion on all of their listings. Please note, not all listings have a shipping promotion attached." So I lowered my price on 5 items today and sent offers to likers public, and none of my listings ( over $10) received a discounted shipping. I really wish they would be transparent and just tell people the truth! Good luck!

  I hate when sellers say they shipped the item (notification on mercari) but then a week later it finally updates me that the seller dropped the item off.
