I am SHOCKED that people don't tip that often. I ALWAYS tip AT LEAST the recommended amount!

I delivered a huge order to a party for the orthopedic office a few days ago. It was a good tip but doordash had sent me to the restaurant 25 minutes before they had requested the pickup so I had to wait of take the CR hit. Normally if an order is taking that long I’ll be offered the ability to cancel without the hit but they did it intentionally so they would not unassign it. It took almost an hour for that $20 tip which made it a shitty peak lunch hour.

There's no way I would take a drink a third of the way full to the customer, I have asked for them to fill it up the rest of the way when they try to hand it to me like that.. also ask for a sticker

I truly don’t understand people not tipping. I would never order delivery and not tip. And the doctor orders everyday and no tip??! Crazy. I used to deliver pizzas for Pizza Hut years ago and the big fancy neighborhoods were usually the ones who didn’t tip or tipped very low. In my experience the middle class were the best tippers!! I did DoorDash for about a month and then my anxiety was like yea I can’t. 😂😂

I'm sure doordash is sending you to the dashpass customers that don't have to pay anything

I don't go into hospitals, schools or large office buildings however I've done hundreds of deliveries to such establishments. They will meet me at any entrance they desire. Front, back, side whatever they want and I'll text them when I'm close. But I'm not going in. I've only had to unassign a few because customers would not agree.

STORY TIME! I accidentally accepted a HUGE order from taco bell. It was a 4.50 pay to go 11 miles but it was on way home so I was like fuck it ill take it UGH. 116$ massive taco bell order. Took forever i was pissed I knew it was a 0$ tip cause it was bouncing around 3x before I took it.
