Hello!
I wanted to share the women who give me the biggest fashion inspiration! Truthfully I get my inspiration from a mix of people from history and movies. Films are a HUGE place of Inspiration for me but its too long to put together in one video, so i'm going to do a separate video for movies soon!
For this video I am sticking to women from the 1950s and 1960s that give me the most fashion inspiration ! I think their influence is very apparent when looking at my style. They all have similar elements, in that they all have a very feminine style, some a little more fun and Mod and other a bit more classic.
I'm not going to talk much more and I'll let you enjoy the video !
Let me know what you think !

I've been waiting for this for so long!! Honestly I'd love a part2 / contemporary icons too! or honestly any ideas you have because I love your videos! also I completely agree about Twiggy's fashion still looking youthful today (and YES!! children's fashion is amazing I'd dress like that every day!)
I love this era! The clothes, mid-century house/decorating style, & the cars, YES, THE CARS! I can relate so much more to this era that I'm starting to think I was supposed to be born a decade or two sooner... Maybe right in the middle between Boomer & GenX so I can take the best of both ;)
I love your fashion inspiration series! I’d love to see any more you’d make, classic, modern, designers, seasonal, anything :) I also look up photos in a similar way, I try to find family portraits outside homes or very casual everyday looks from the 40-70s. A recent interest I’m trying to find is camping and scout wear. I’m always blown away that someone outside of films took the time to get ready and style their hair and makeup everyday. 🧡🧡
I have now watched some of your videos love them so cute as I am a fashion designer love the 50s and 60s the 60s was so much fun love color wish here in Melbourne women wore more color its black ouch lol

Thank you so much !!!! 😊😊😊
I was watching a retro fashion video from 1939 and love the first dress they show. It's a beautiful black dress with a visor and a red belt and changeable sleeves. Will someone please make this dress!?!
ngl I loved every single video idea you mentioned and I'm sure I'm not the only one.. I'd love to see your more modern inspirations, and a video dedicated to designers and even you gushing over Life Magazine pics sounds fun! Btw loved this video, it was super helpful!

Ah I’m SOO happy you liked this video 😊😊
Still think you need to do a tableaux vivant art video in those styles. I know you won't, but I just think it fits what you're doing and can get you into doing more of the art projects I think you would be amazing at.
As always great video ♥️
Would love to see a video on your favorite designers!
I had no idea that Life Magazine had those gorgeous pics!! Are they on Pinterest? Love all of it! I wish I could time travel back to that time too my friend 😍

Yes you can find many of them on Pinterest !! they are easy to spot because they have the life logo on the bottom right hand corner (I had to crop some photos to fit on the screen so that’s why it’s not always visible when I show it in the video) also life magazine is really easy to find in antique stores and typically really cheap. They had so many issues that they are always huge piles of them!

I have a shirt like the one you are wearing under the dress.(Not sure if its a one piece) I haven't figured out how to style it, but now I know thanks to your outfit. Thank you and great video. You look amazing!

It’s funny what you said about kid’s fashion. I’ll see a Mommy and Me pairings and I’ll always will like what the kid is wearing more than the mom.

I love your chanel and you are inspiring but Please stop talking to fast, it gives me a headache to many words running into one another. Calm down and space your words then maybe I can get to watch all the way through. 💖

I wanted to watch this, but you are talking too fast and it was so annoying I had to stop. Please slow down and maybe take a breath.
