I love this era! The clothes, mid-century house/decorating style, & the cars, YES, THE CARS! I can relate so much more to this era that I'm starting to think I was supposed to be born a decade or two sooner... Maybe right in the middle between Boomer & GenX so I can take the best of both ;)

I think that dress can be fitted fairly easily with the right pleat. It already looks great. The glove box is beautiful and looks like new. And I love those little picture frames, particularly the one that looks like a locket.

You should buy a dress or top in the same green as your dressing gown! Is it a side zip on the dress? Might have to take out zip and take dress in on both sides. And reinsert zip. Back zips are easier to alter I have been told

I've been looking for a top in that exact shade of green and I haven't been able to find one! I love that shade its beautiful. I actually took my dress to my seamstress and she liked my idea of how to alter it! It should be ready by the end of the week 😊

Thank you !! it actually looks way better on camera than in person, in person you can tell its too big. The biggest issue is the neckline, it makes the whole dress look to big on my frame. But I took it to my seamstress and we are altering it! It should be ready the the end of the week 😊 Yess glove boxes are so beautiful, I love the ones from the turn of the century-1920s but the ones I find are usually in bad shape 😢 Crossing my fingers you find a glove box!

That "flowers in a basket" purse was the perfect way to start out this video with a bang! 💐🧺 I think a pair of vintage style sunglasses make all the difference with a vintage outfit. I also like having a few different pairs to make sure they match my outfits. 😎 I tried to write which item was my favorite but I couldn't choose! I don't know if hats count as accessories, but a big straw hat is my summer necessity! 👒

I love your collection of wicker/raffia handbags! I have a few basket bags in constant rotation in the Summer as well as white and cream crochet bags. I love your floral and cherry brooches too - you don't see people wearing brooches anymore, but there's some fun vintage ones out there! 2 other Sumer accessories I love are silk scarves for your hair or to tie on handbags, and a Cottagecore straw hat (also with a silk scarf tied around the brim lol). <3

I like the navy-blue bag the most. The white/cream flower brooch looks so perfect with your light blue blouse. I also tend to have those periphery issues with sunglasses. I wear them when I'm driving, but sometimes when I'm walking around with sunglasses on, I feel like it throws off my depth perception a little.

Hi Carolina, For me, a summer essential is a pair of long ( to the knee) khaki colored shorts with pleats. That is a classic, timeless look that can also work in a vintage 1930's outfit. Kind of a safari look, I think. I'd wear them with the brown sunglasses from Seville. Love the cherries in those broaches!
