I inherited one of those 1/2” Snap On ratchet adapters. Like you said, with a hole drilled directly thru the stamping. Glad you mentioned that cause I thought maybe someone had modified it

I got tools from my late father he used to be a mechanic he had snap-on Cornwell matco sk Craftsman unfortunately I didn't get the snap-on sockets or the SK but I got the SK ratchet 3/8 USA made late 70's lucky for me it still works and I can rebuild it

I don’t have much big stuff. Everything I have is 3/8 and 1/4. I have a little bit of 1/2 drive stuff and only one 50mm 3/4 drive socket. I have a 3/4 breaker bar and I want to get a 3/4 drive set and I’m hoping that will take care of the sizes bigger than my 1/2 dr sets if I run into them
