My Two Year Natural Hair Journey

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

My natural 4B hair journey is here you guys. i know its been more like 2 and 1/2 years but thats cool. I appreciate you guys' support thats why I'm going to start doing more give aways because you guys are phenomenal.
My favorite hair products for hair growth
Deep conditioner: shorturl.at/mvBTY
Growth Oil: shorturl.at/bdMZ8
In case I contradicted my self in the video:
The first bit of success in my hair journey came from Shea Moisture. Then I upgraded to Mielle 's which i will still use every so often but for the last year and a half i have only used Rich Royals because they've given me the best results.

Congratulations on your awesome hair journey. What an inspiration. I did the big chop in June. Normally I would only do shoulder length cuts every few yrs. The Big Chop definitely is an Adjustment. I started searching videos to see if others were going thru hair shock as I was. Lol. You're an inspirational delight to follow. Continued blessings.👌👏👏

Peace bro, when you said “i made the mistake but ima make sure that you dont have too” i felt that. Thats something i live by. So ima do the same for you, ** before you cut your hair, loc your hair. Once it locks then you can cut it. That way when you are ready to grow it back all you have to do is reattach your locs and you will always be 3+ years advanced! That kobe bryant stage is a killer! Good luck and 1 more thing. Dont cut your hair if you dont have too, i cut my hair and i was literally sick for 3 weeks. There strength in our hair. Samson and Delilah champ!

Nah the final level is dreads. And I feel you on the temp fade in the back. March 2020 I was rocking the cornrow in a bun on the top and a fade around the rest of my head. Grew it out all quarantine and finally cornrowed my whole head. The back of my head was TIGHT. Couldn't even put my chin to my chest. So ya short back hair aint no joke.

worst mistake to make when growing ur hair is to get the lower-sides and backs shaved cuz then the barber keep pushing the line back up everytime so i started off with the odell beckham haircut with 1inch off on each sides to end up with a mister-T mohawk after a year cuz they keep messin up that made me want to cut everything off and start over, but instead i did some dreadlocks and i hate having the sides shaved with my dreadlocks so again ill have to shave it all off and start over again to get a full head of dreads and especially dont let them push the top of ur hairline back cuz u gonna end up lookin like busta rhymes with 2 inches of buzzed hairline before the dreads start at the middle of his head #fail

Bro just grow out your sides while you have your dreads. Your dreads on top will hide your sides. After a while your sides will get long enough to lock them. They may not be as long as the ones on top but you don’t have to start over and you can cut your dreads to the proper length once the ones on the sides finally grow

Twists(separate or flat twists instead of separate), locs, mini braids(instead of cornrows). Just keep it in a style that makes it easy for you to wash etc. but also makes you feel confident and keeps your hands out your hair(over-manipulation is detrimental to a growth journey).

Everything you said is me from starting with waves not knowing nothing to having a natural crooked hairline lol only difference is I had long hair like yours and got it relaxed before knowing much about natural hair went to do two strand twist and realized my head was jacked lmao so I ain't know nothing about curly hair I started from waving and I got a relaxer probably a fee times a year in.. around my third year when I attempted to hop on the natural wave I realized all my error lol I cut it and now I got a small curly fro but at least my hajr natural my hair now it like yours around oct. 5 2018 just a little more. Salute 🙏🏾

your hair looks awesome. I'm 46 and thank God I have a full head of hair...im about 8 months in and plan on growing it out. I always wanted to , but due to work etc I never did it. I think it looks great when black people grow dreads or braids...are the braids painful ? I looks great like that, but I'm wondering if you feel a tugging on your hairline etc? keep it up brother..looks cool
