This update looks AMAZING! Remember just because I shared some opinions or worries (mainly based on the fact that we don't have all the information) I am still very happy with the features they are adding, they look great and will add a lot to the game. Clarifications: - I forgot about the deep dark. There was a lot of info to go through. My point still stands that skulk looks like an end block. - I should have said friendly mob "in the overworld" I did forget about iron golems though. My point still stands, I would love to see more friendly mobs like the strider than real animals. - a lot of my opinions are speculation on what could be.

@@Lunarcreeper Literally everything people have asked about the glowsquid has been confirmed to be false. It doesn't glow, it's just an animated texture on a squid. It doesn't hypnotize players or mobs, that was a gimmick that imo Mojang should not have used. It hyped it up way too much for what it was. They aren't friendly, or hostile, you can't tame them and they don't fight back. All of this is confirmed by Mojang themselves. And was confirmed as such before the vote even finished. Anyone who voted for the glow squid either thought it would do something special (in which case they either didn't know that Mojang themselves said it would not, or were hoping they would change their minds, which they also said they would not), or were trolls. That's it.

It seems everyone forgets that the skulk sensor doents detect crouching. If you crouch, it won’t send redstone signal, so it won’t trigger the trap.

The sculk sensors only spawn in the “deep dark” which is incredibly deep and dark, so I wouldn’t worry about them spawning in non fitting caves.

Also, the skulk colors make sense, because they add to the lore of the game, it almost looks like as if there is a point where the caves end and the end dimension starts, and the color pallet is the old end one, purple is like the dragon or the shulkers they are almost like invaders, while the green is the old end, and maybe the warden and the skulk sensors escaped to the deep caves, with the pottery part of the update mojang seems to want to add to the lore of the game

I find it strange the colors of these new things and their design is reminiscent of the end while the end is just primarily purple themed. The warden also looks like it has the skulk material spreading on it.

Absolutely! Maybe add different KINDS of... - Soup (potato, beef stew, chicken noodle, etc). This could could either be crafted the usual way (bowl + ingredients in crafting table) OR, broth could also be added. This would add more practical use for cauldrons or bottles if you had to make a broth base for soup first- you might have to create the broth in a cauldron over fire then add other ingredients into the cauldron, or put the broth in bottles and craft it into soups that way. -Cakes Could have different colors or decorations, and maybe the ability to use templates for different designs like banners -Pies (apple, berry, cocoa, etc). I love the farming aspect of the game as well, and being able to discover, grow, and craft more kinds of food would be fantastic, and would add more variety to the overall wildlife of the game. I also love the adventuring part, and getting to go out and try to find more types of plants in different biomes would be really fun.

Coming back to this video, maybe in the future because I know the development of the update has gone a longer way than it used to, there can be a peaceful mob in the end? Ever since the other end update, the end still needs more love!! I would love to see some other strange creature like the strider in the end or end cities. I don’t have an idea for what it would be or could be used for but if the Mojang team do end up storming up the ideas for the end or new creatures, I would love to see it!

(I know im late) With the skulk growth's it would be cool to find it grown in "Abandon Fortresses" like a end fortress but the portal is partially broke and it is decaying with the skulk growth growing out of it.

If the lightning rod emits a redstone signal when hit, it should be pretty simple. Just put a bunch of creepers in there, connect the lightning rod to a bunch of pistons on the floor, and make it retract when hit by lightning. The charged creepers will fall and die.

This is why the “more options inhibits creativity” thing is dumb. That may be the case with some, but often times new features _promote_ creativity. Such as colored lighting, which there really is no alternative for in the game currently. And imagine the designs we could create with vertical slabs that aren’t currently possible (plus they just make sense to have from a consistency standpoint).

@@unpopularopinions7407 i defintely think more options let you be more creative. Just look at all the mc creativity we are seeing now vs the identical coble+oak planks builds we used to see.

19:02 they'll need to add like a wax to the game to prevent the copper from turning, if so we can see Iron blocks rusting too. Wax can be made from bee hives to make candles. (Bees wax)

That's probably what they have in mind. I also think that the candles can be made, not only from said wax, but also the colored terracotta. I think that would make sense, as well as offer some color choices.

When I saw the bundles it just made me wish they would put backpacks in vanilla even more.

I hate the idea of wardens. When strip mining you could accidentally walk into one of these and get absloutlet mauled. Mining won't be the same and I will never feel safe while doing it.

Well bedrock without snapshots is better cause when you get the update:AEEEAAH FINALLY I CAN PLAY IT AND TEST ALL THE FEATURES(also it would be final product and overall feels like a better update) but java:oh cool the updates here whatever not that exciting but at least everything is clean unlike the snapshots. You see? That’s why bedrock is superior it’s more exiting! It’s a rush, so I like it, also less lag and actuall mod support

My thoughts when I saw the glow squid: Trap. Definitely the perfect trap.

The axolotl was added to Minecraft to bring awareness about their dropping numbers in the wild. The only place they mainly exist now is in captivity. They are considered endangered in the wild

By the way, in every other update it said “removed herobrine” but they didn’t do that with the last update, 1.16 and it is speculated that herobrine will be in 1.17, either as a glitch, or a boss battle.

i truly hope they add a new boss its been so many years and there's still only the wither and ender dragon that have been true "bosses" with a health bar the only other thing is the elder guardians but the cave update overall looks amazing

It would be so cool if the glowsquid drops some kind of glowing Ink that could be used to make neon coloured blocks

Hopefully it will, but I remember reading somewhere that Mojang said that they won't be including any kind of glowing ink or dynamic lighting to it even if the squidward won, which for me made it kinda pointless

Imagine glow ink sack with a bottle then you go and you craft them together glow ink in a bottle craft it with stuff to make it glow literally anything boom tiny light source imagine using a glowing ink sack on a book & quilt instead of a normal ink sack just blue glowing words instead of black text!
