    Thank you,,,,I've built a skinning machine from this video. I do appreciate all you do for all of us. I did make a double gambrel instead of two different ones. It has 2 different sets of hooks. 9 -1/2" and 12-1/2 wide . Thanks again...

    nice video.. had to adjust my machine the other day as the heights in my shed doesnt allow for a full pull on a coyote.. winch is at 7'8" and even by dropping my bottom clamp system it wasnt enough to shuck him out of his jammies,,and then made your gambrel. went with 3/8 cold rolled and welded.. hey Stu can you giver the measurements on each of the pvc fleshing beams? I think I made my yote one a bit too wide..

  • @robertheywood141
    @robertheywood1413 жыл бұрын

    Great video as always!!! I use clamps attached to a weight at the bottom when I skin yotes. Probably works similar to your old rebar setup. However, I've still ripped a few pelts. Your coyote skinning video doesn't show. Where on the pelt do you clamp?

    Heej, awesome job! I would really like to exchange some info with you or hear your advice. I work with another methots, mostly with alum, or formic acid (no choice the buy those formulas). I am just a beginner. Your skinnig videos helped me a lot, i usually skip the boarding and salting too. After thorough flashing I put my furs right to the alum+salt solution for approx a week. the flash side is white, and after that phase (tanning) i never experienced slippery. however nearly always find some little place with no fur, what can couses that? :? can you tell me your advise the make my work better ? Are those parts, like boarding, salting - 2x driing necesery ? Best regards, a Hunter from EU, Slovakia.

    You need to get the foot control for your wench. I did and it speeded me up a lot. I have days of 30 or 40 coons and a few yotes on top of that.
