My Shop Welder Setup | I Installed a New 50 amp Welder Outlet and Built a Gas Bottle Storage Area

I make room for my new welding table by moving my gas bottles away from the welder to the opposite side of the shop. The welder gets its own devoted electrical outlet and I build a gas bottle storage area and bracket. I also run my argon gas lines through my attic and down the walls.

Several things I like here, no more 220 power cords on the floor, gas fitting wrench designated for bottles, and seeing you use featured tools from other projects such as the anvil, efficiency increases profitability and you just invested in the future my friend. Cool.

I love the gas line through the attic. I might do something similar in my future barn. Do you have to worry about temperature extremes (summer or winter) with the line going through the attic? What line did you use?

Thanks! I used a cutting torch hose. I figured it would be tough. Plus it’s very flexible. So far so good.

Ok couple of questions, when are we going to finish that welding table and why do you have a picture of Tom Sellick on your wall? JK about the pic.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Very soon the train will be moving again. I hope to be putting out the next video of the table in the next week or so. This next step was a lot to chew on. If you find me on Instagram you will start seeing progress on the table later this week.🤞🏻 I will keep it to ourselves that you mistook Ron Swanson for Tom Sellick. 😁
