Choosing to not have kids is not being irresponsible. Choosing to leave your children with someone who doesn't want them around is being irresponsible

Story 1: Apologizing is almost always possible and doesn't necessitate a family dinner. Just send an apologetic email/letter directly to OP as a first step, so that the stakes are low and OP can calmly decide how to proceed from there. This apologizing thru relatives/family dinner situation is just a way to pressure OP to say she accepts the apology because of social pressure.

I don't know if it's petty, but I blocked this girl from social media, and stopped talking to her because she used me to get good grades in order to finish first year of academy 5 years ago, but always ignored me in social areas. As of writing this, we are still in the same class, she keeps saying hi to me from time to time, but I ignore her. I wish i didn't react this way now, but it is what it is. We don't argue, we don't talk, so it's ok.

Not petty if it makes you feel better. She used you and in this way disrespected you as a person. So I would feel bad if I were you and wouldn't consider changing my mind unless she apologized.

23:00 iirc, the update to this story is that the sister has feelings for OP (her BROTHER) and she would always divert that emotion to whomever he is dating. If that's not the update to that story, there is a very similar one on BORU.

Welp, the sister is disturbed and needs a straight jacket. And I thought she was on some unhinged, one-sided competitive/spite against OP. But this is far worse.

She took the kid to some random persons house. Then, she excused her crappie behaviour, saying she could read people. Op was right not to let this irisponsible person near her child again. She caught her this time, but how many other times did she not get caught. Also, what's with the mom coming out with she's family crap. She endangered your grandchild, don't you get that. She should be kicking that girls behind, not defending her.

Drunk boyfriend story. I thought drunks cannot consent, he felt clear shame, humiliation, dread and regret. He is a victim, but also an asshole for getting that drunk in public. Could it be rape?

Sister flirting with girlfriends: NTA Imagine if it was brother flirting with girlfriends, No one would be on his side and everyone would see him as the douche. Just because it's a girl hitting on other girls does not make it okay.

The story about the sister flirting with her brother's girlfriend is despicable especially since the parents are ok with it.... imagine if your straight brother would do that...he would get crucified.... your sister is out of line and despicable!!!

My sister died in a car crash when she was 21. Six months after she died my dickhead stoner uncle came over to the house and, in a nutshell, told mum she should be over it! What an asshole!!! He lives so far outside of reality!! Also, a week after she died mum decided to walk into town to get out of the house and she walked past a stranger and he turned round to her and said "jeez cheer up, who died" or some such variant. She was so upset she turned round and walked back home. People, JUST BE KIND

In relation to story 1, my daughter had 3 CHD's. At just over a month old, she had her first closed heart surgery, which ended up with her getting placed on life support. We tried for 2 almost 3 months to get her off, but she was never able to tollerate it. At 4 months old on the dot, we let her go, we had our family there as we planned on letting her go two days before. My estranged father came, my husband kept him updated on certain things. She was on a actual cott instead of a warmer for that last day so her dad and I could lay with her, and when people came to say bye could be closer to her than just rubbing her head. Well, he laid on her bed the last day she was here and made people go around him. Later, when we took her to the hospital chapple to let her go. He made a scene screaming and balling his eyes out to the point that security came and escorted him out. We laid out boundaries that if anyone laid down and logged her that day they would be left out of her obituary. So fast forward to her funeral, he was left out of her obituary. He, at my daughters funeral, called me a female dog to her corpse multiple times. I didn't know until after her burial that happened, I was told by multiple people that he said that. He is now completely cut off from us and our sons. Both my husband and I have a son from previous relationships. We found out we were pregnant again almost 2 weeks ago, I obviously told my sister, who lives with my dad. I got a call from him yesterday demanding he see my son and be in this babies life, of which I said no to, because of above and I told him that. We shall see what happens later on.

Yeah like drunk driving... It was not their fault either... But he knew it was his fault... Never doubted it, that's why it took him 5 months to come clean. He should have gone to her right away, then saying it didn't mean anything would have been believable...

@@TopHatWarrior I do totally believe he was very drunk as he thought it was his girlfriend when she wasn't even there... But his crime is mostly not telling his GF right away. Still using the excuse the alcohol made me do it (which he doesn't use) is pretty weak, no one forced him to drink, if he were roofied that would be another story. Come on we all know our limits and what kind of drunk we are (either directly or from what your friends tell you), some flirt and more, some talk, some cry, etc. You know better than put yourself in certain situations, especially if you're out with colleagues (except in Asia I guess)

@@TopHatWarrior I agree that HE never said it wasn't his fault, you are projecting something in this story that isn't there. He was conscious enough to stop her. I'm not commenting on anything else. You just don't get the point of the story and the reason why she broke up when HE obviously gets it. The point is that it took him 5 months to come clean. If he indeed considered this was an assault why didn't he tell before or confront the lady in question for her actions? That is all missing because he never considered it was one. Now I'm not going to lose more time with you as obviously you're more interested in the story you've imagined here than what OP told us.
