There's nothing you can do for the dogs at that point. It's not about pitbulls being a bad breed, it's that those particular dogs have been raised to be dangerously aggressive. Everyone is lucky they didn't maul a child or kill any of the other animals they attacked. Unfortunately at that point it had to be done.

Yeah I’m sad the dogs were euthanized too, but since they were not trained and who knows what the owners did behind closed doors, they might have gone after a child next time. Sadly, stupid people get their own pets killed. Sorry for Smokestack and the dogs. All could have been prevented with training.

Exactly what I thought, first it's a cat, next could have been a little kid or a toddler, a dog that bark and dog that bite can be trained, but when a dog *kill* is when it's unfortunately ends with a poison needle, it's sad that it happened and the dog didn't deserve it, but if it's not been put down, they would be probably be chained to a fance in some military ground as a guard dog, being fed from a far like its a fricking wild animal

For the story at 14:50, why pitbulls. Why mention the breed? If it was any other dog like a lab, you would have mentioned it but because it is a pitbull, you mentioned it. It is the dog, it is how the dog is raised. I have a wonderful pitbull mix and she loves children and is very playful. It is not the nature of the breed, it is how they are raised

First story: I don’t think she’s an a-hole that’s a weird position to be in. I do think however that child is entitled to an equal portion of The Father’s estate. If the father’s other kids get something when she’s gone, that kid should too. I’m not saying the child is entitled to anything the woman made after her husband died, but it sounds like they were really well off and there was a substantial amount at THAT time. It isn’t that child’s fault both his parents were adulterous scumbags and the fact remains, that child was HIS. That woman really wasn’t doing the child any favors. A portion of that money should rightfully be theirs. It think it’s petty that the woman didn’t want the siblings to know each other unless his side of the family did it. They didn’t need to be “besties”. None of those kids chose this, the adults who should have known better did. All that does it hurt the kids further. They should have been encouraged to try and have a relationship, they are siblings! I hate all the people in here that don’t value family and there are a lot of you! Just because you have a crap view on families and this situation, doesn’t mean those kids would have. Family is important, there are obviously circumstances where you have to cut family members out; rape, incest, actual abuse (not the perceived bs some people consider “toxic”, uggh I couldn’t even right that without rolling my eyes) things of that nature. Maybe if more people stopped being soooo ridiculous, they wouldn’t be so lonely and would be better able to handle life. And now…. I await the screeching harpies that will tell me everything wrong with what I just said and how I’m --- insert favorite, tired insult.

They got the money they were entitled to. The mom had to use it for medical bills. The kid's not entitled to anything else. Plus, the OP went above and beyond letting them live rent free for 18 years! I wish I could live rent free. It's sad the kid got sick, but the mom should've taken the monry she saved by living rent free and added other to thr money that she had to use when the kid got sick. I agree it was an a-hole move for her to not foster a relationship with the kids, bit why should she? If the kids want a relationship, they can build it on their own. Quite frankly, it's easy for us to think what the OP should've done in this situation, but we didn't experience it. I wouldn't do it, either. My mom has a friend who fostered a relationship between her husband's affair baby and her kids. I think it takes an exceptional person to do that. I think that is rare. And while it's not the kid's fault, no one can blame the OP for taking the stance she did.
