Excellent video Vince! I use reasonable uniform appearance or "continuous conformity" alot and have had great success. For hail claims I like to argue building codes. my other favorite things is the tyvek of Underlayment building codes. Tyvek requires a 6" overlap on the manufacturers recommend installation instructions. Also most states I work in adopted the 2018 IRC code which requires the 6" overlap on all vertical corner seams to ensure a water Tight exterior wall envelope. They want to pay one side of siding.... if the siding cannot be detached and reset I get full replacement in many jobs. Siding types that canot be detached and reset? Asbestos or lead based paint cannot be. Once disturbed it must be abated. Fiber cement boards (James hardie)- the concrete nail holes lose their integrity and they must be face nailed, or seamless steel siding. Just another one to add to another video :) or let's do a show brutha. I got some good stuff.

Refacing if properly measured sometimes will be more expensive, Former Field adjuster, and current complex Examiner, always fun these videos, believe it or not we agree on quite a lot of things, some other not much, but the few claims we had together we had settled them.

Here’s one I argue all the time. The majority of homes these days are finished with a washable paint surface. This surface by design is supposed to prevent anything from sticking to (including a coat of paint). For all washable surfaces we use PNT SP2, seal and two coats of paint. The insurance company will argue “then how do you apply a second coat of paint if washable paint won’t allow for additional coats that will stick?”. Here’s the answer: The difference between dry paint and cured paint. Dry paint is when after applying a coat of paint it is dry to the touch, cured paint is dry to the point where you can no longer smell the paint. You can apply additional coats of paint over dry paint without sealer in between coats, cured paints will require a seal coat or deglosser before applying a top coat

Great point regarding the $10k limit for water damage by having to demo something else. For example, I have a shower pan failure claim In the master bathroom. People’s trust wants it to fall under the $10k limit but to fix the issues the shower needs to be demo and redone which doesn’t fall under the $10k limit, correct?

Hey when it comes to asking to replace the countertop because it is next to impossible to remove/reset I was told by the carrier before that if it actually does get damaged THEN we can ask for a supplemental. How would you respond to that counter argument?

Hey Ronnie. That's a tough one. It is true that they will pay for it if it does break. Sometimes you get it up front, sometimes you don't.

Commercial Claims Show Is it right for a Public Adjuster to charge us 35% of our belongings even though they didn’t get us any more money for them because it’s our belongings. At first they told us they did not charge for belongings but once it came time to get our money for belongings they told us for 35% applies to that as well.

You don’t need to detach and reset baseboards to do flooring. You only need to remove and reset base shoe(quarter round) and paint one coat w/ cap or shoe.

  • @CommercialClaimsShow

Well that really depends on whether or not the flooring goes underneath the baseboards or not. Normally you lay the flooring down first, then put your baseboards on top.
