How can we go to the bootcamp? This was a phenomenal episode!
Do you recommend a course for the state of California?
I recommend you find practice exams and questions to study with, at the very least. That's how I passed the California exam.
This was fantastic!!

Very confused becauee another experienced instructor said the avwrgae money you make from a claim is $380. 🤷 ?????
I outsource my estimates because I don't want o be drawing lines and boxes at night. It makes more sense to sign up more claims than getting g bogged down in estimates. Its more important to write great Scopes and have 4-5 estimators based on complexity. Thoughts?
I agree! 4-5 estimators seems like a lot, but it all depends on volume of course.

My PA is mostly non responsive, they've had little to no contact with my ins. It's been 10 month! I have been patient, I have asked for updates, I either get no response (mostly) or the occasional BS that ins. is stubborn. I called my ins. no one has been in contact with them for 6 months. They already took 10% of the check insurance would have issued to me if I never hired anyone and have since done nothing to fight this claim.
Hi Brandy. I am very sorry to hear that. I will say that the ins co can be extremely stubborn, even (especially) with us sometimes. Not to say your PA is right. At the very least however, your PA MUST be in constant communication with you. There is no excuse for that.
Thanks
I have Duenge I'm miserable and I didn't do anything today Goggins would have surfed. Oh well
No, Vince, it is not in the homeowner's (the insured) best interest for you, through iink, or other means, to send the insured's proceeds directly to the roofing contractor. If you do, then, there is no safeguard that the roofer will do the job, but, may take the money and be gone. You would be trusting a roofer, whom you've know nothing about, more than the insured. You could ask the homeowner if s/he wants to pay the roofer for the materials costs. It is not up to you to police the homeowner. Your first interest is supposed to be the homeowner--- not another party.
I have my Claims Adjuster license for 10 years in Florida. I can't find a job, because I have no experience.
Takes you years to settle because you write inflated estimates no one would pay while trying to scam real adjusters and contractors, then if you don’t get agreement you hire a friend to be an umpire and continue the lie on your behalf through arbitration.
@@millward434 Sometimes that might be the case, but sometimes the carrier just won't budge on an under paid claim. Not all claims are the same. Umpire by the way has to be agreed on by both sides.
This is insane, 52 weeks in a year, 1 claim a week at $25k multiplied by 15% would equal $195k per year. Sounds good to me.

What if the insurance only wants to clean duct work?
What if you receive an estimate amount, but the GC finds more damage?
Hey Vince. At around 10:45 in the video you mentioned old pipes/ broken drain line claims may be above $30k. Some years back in Florida, didn't most insurers start including $10k caps on water losses? Are you getting above the $10k? How?
Hey man. There are definitely a lot more $10k caps out there, which makes things a little more complicated and harder to settle for a true value on a claim.
@@CommercialClaimsShow its been a while since I dealt with one, but there were at least three obstacles in a broken drain line claim in general: 1. The 10k cap. 2. The contractors who can't complete the repair for $10k or under. 3. These new repair sleeves for drain lines.
I passed PA test and organized an LLC, finished contract and I just need to submit the application. However, I bonded the LLC and want to get the LLC licensed but do I need to be personally licensed first? Does that mean I need 2 bonds for myself and my LLC? I’m in Illinois
I believe in Illinois you only need one. I am licensed in Illinois, and only I (myself) is licensed and bonded. Hope that helps.
@@CommercialClaimsShow just so you know I spoke to Depratment of Insurance. They told me I need to have 2 bonds, as well as submit 2 contracts. One for the LLC and one for myself.
@@abstractumnoumenon4156 Ooof. One thing I do know was that Illinois licensing process was very difficult.
You and this guy (kzread.infooKn-tHguBqs) both have little man syndrome, no one else is doing this in the PA and adjuster industry because we arent trying to make new competitors, i know you little guys are excited but please just go try to be a n actor or content creator.
What I don't understand and don't care to understand is, why do "business" owners like yourself in niche industries such as PA, roofing contractor etc, why do you instead of minding your business, why insist on being a content creator lol like if business is so well why do you need to be a youtuber? I've never heard of even fortune 500 companies try to teach potential competitors on the industry and come up with these short lived "million-dollar macro" packages and stuff to fuel competition. Just a ton of try hards I guess, it just shows you're not in it for the end game, it's just another look at me! My wife and I have a PA Firm and it makes this guy's Elite Resolutions blah blah blah look like trash... You guys ruin it for people that like to have a private means of income and not allow every roofer in a truck to come out and start mimicking and eventually supersaturate the industry. You and Adjuster university guy need to stay humble and stay smart, either way we'll pass you up and whatever floats your boat!
