We, Dave, Tim, and Lathan, the crew at Anonymous Tabletop, are glad you had a blast at our Meat Grinder event. We will be back next year for even more carnage.

I have never had so much fun losing my voice than when I did it running the Meat Grinder for you maniacs. I loved each and every kitbashed monstrosity that entered that arena only to end up in bits. The amount of creativity and embracing of chaos was amazing. I so very much look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Is there a spot to find out more about the meat grinder ? This is my first year going and it is one of the main reasons I want to go.

We don't have a set location. It is treated a bit like the back alley dice game of Adepticon. Normally we are on the second floor at the far end since it gets a little loud and we run long. It all comes down to the people playing at the time.
Damn why am i so predictable

I was there, and I was a witness your joy.
The vibe in the meat grinder clips are indescribable.

If this doesn't make you wanna go to adepticon, you're made out of stone.

Hi, i am a golem. Or a stone troll😅
Really digging the production lately. The "Hazy Memory Machine" was a great touch!
The Grinder was the most hype part of adepticon imo. I stumbled on it when I was taking a late night (totally sober 😉) stroll around the GD case. Heard a bunch of people screaming and getting super hyped so I HAD to see what was going on.
We were playing Space Hulk just next door with the IC crew and the BoD guys. We could hear your cheers and they fueled our excitement too. I definitely want to convert something for that event for next year!
I'm glad you guys had fun but man I could never bring myself to throw a mini in a meat grinder
you, friend, are an excellent teller of stories, and an excellent liver of life.
The fact that you did a Genestealer Ork is very funny since I've been wanting to do Genestealer Orks since watching your Chaos Ork series. So much kitbash potential with those armies
Babe wake up, Miscast uploaded again!
It was a lot of fun digging through those bins. I can't wait for the meat grinder next year!! My body is ready haha.
I had a friend during my school days with whom I would make up and play RPGS during our 1 hour bus rides to & from school and it might be one of the things that inspired me to be a game concept artist. We never complained about lack of tools/ rule sheets / miniatures and all the tabletop paraphernalia. We even had a racing game where the car positions were mimed by our hands on a large sketchpad. We didn't write down our rules anywhere so it was fun fighting over the game mechanics. Soooooooooooooo much fun. Trent, this video made me remember that feeling. Thank you so much!
That's a great point. It's not the game itself but the people creating the atmosphere. The question is whether it is possible to create that on purpose or whether it just finds you.
I love the meat grinder. I can't stop thinking of it when brainstorming/daydreaming up new game ideas
2:04 I would definitely have dropped the piece too
I NEED to go Adepticon with all my friends next year
the meatgrinder is litterally a tabletop wargame rogue like
We're all chasing our own Robot Wars in our hearts.
I really resonate with the pure creativity and art form you put in making these videos. The sensitivity, the story telling, the atmosphere just goes to home ! You're doing something great
The footage of the game doesn't begin to show how insane the atmosphere actually was. What an absolutely insane event man, can't wait for next year :)
Adepticon, was a pleasure meeting you there Trent
The key word there is atmosphere You all were so intense 😱
You and goobertown are my favorite feel good, feel human kinda channels when it comes to modeling, or just hobbies in general. Thank you 🙏
What a stellar moment. Pure exaltation. Thank you for documenting this for us, it is almost overwhelming to even be able to take the faintest whiff of that energy in that room through the hazy memory machine.
Doing the grinder with you and the rest of the InRustWeTrust crew was the highlight of my adepticon.
Thanks for the shoutout!! 🎉 can't wait to see ya next year
Gotta love (those moments). Cherish & Celebrate & Reminisce & Relate them. Generally "they" are few and far between. All the more reason to remember them. Awesome. Just bloody awesome!
Fiver cameo. Wild
Minotaur is going in the grinder
That's literally not at all what I thought totally not panicking looked like
I remember making up a similar game as kids but building giant lego robots, up to about a foot tall and blasting bits off of them when they got damaged, or stealing parts (Cyborg Justice style if you ever played that on Megadrive) BRUTAL!
Honestly I'm a very casual mini painter and terrain builder but your videos just inspire me. I'm a composer and watching you put your all into your craft inspires me to tinker and play with my own stuff. Thank you. I'd love to work with some form of audiovisual project with you some day

Hey Ethan, thank you mate. A lot of the music in these videos come from the people watching, if you'd like to contribute audio to a vid, throw some songs in an email to me. Could be the start of something cool!
That meat grinder event sounds fucking incredible, I'd love to partake in one
Now this makes us want to go to Adepticon even more!
Trent's on Grindr? Cool!
Put such a huge smile on my face seeing a circle of gamers in such high spirits. Goto get me a meat grinder.....
I love the idea of an arena style board game. I'm gonna steal it and make one myself
❤❤❤ Just love the passion for the people and the hobby that encircles us.
Man I bet the Grindr jokes were top tier that day
This is how I feel about BOYL. It just feels great to hang out and play games with people who feel the way I do about making weird stuff to play games with.
Love this video. Your words of insight at the end are so true.
I'm in the video! I'm the one WOOOOOOOOing at 7:49
I was there at Adepticon! I actually was in the room when you had your first pb&j. Can’t wait to see you there next year hopefully!
I need to recreate this meat grinder. This is what my life has been missing
So cool the model you've grind. Better the experience on doing it, 4sure. Appreciate you to share it!
I saw so many people from the community talking about the grinder. Hope it still feels underground
Great Video. This year was my first Adepticon and I can't believe I missed the meatgrinder. Will check it out next year!
The stories and experiences you have can elevate a game to something more than a game. It becomes a feeling, a memory. That’s something everyone deserves to enjoy at least once. Great video once again Trent!
Love this video. And love the message even more
Of course you would have a sony PVM. Your studio is just the best collection of cool shit haha
I love the way you edit. Your nurgle diaries got me here.. you kept me here though
Great video. Such good vibes here.
They even built an arena for the Meatgrinder! Amazing! I think that's another community challenge to explore: build your own deathmatch arena.
How awesome!!! Definitely looks like a pivotal experience!!!
I'm really loving the storytelling in your latest videos dude
Beautiful- only 245 days, Trent!
Brilliant. Cheers!
Great stuff man! Sounds like a really fun time.
I am so doing this next year. I always am just working booths!
Excellent video.
loved it all. thanks
Pentagram of inspiration: fear of girls and eldritch horror….me too bro
Amazing video
GRINDER! GRINDER! GRINDER!
Love it!
YEA FIVERR!!!

@@Simpsominiatures Saw this first on IG and it still leaves me awestruck. There's brilliance in it's simplicity. It's wargaming in 6 (arguably 5?) steps and a small investment for an unforgettable experience.

@@bfenix the 1$ was pooled and put into a pot awarded to the model voted best paintjob. In reality, I think it's more of a popularity contest. I actually won the prize $ the second night we played! I even got a Canadian dollar signed by ericshobbyworkshop :)
The meat grinder sounds rad. I would take the bits and pieces from the remains and try to sculpt a new mini out of them, mostly because I'm sentimental like that, but also because it would be a good challenge. Also, day 5 of hailing the garbo toad. What, did you think I was going to forget? :P (Please let me know if this gets annoying. If it's annoying you I will stop.)

I wanted to add, thank you for supporting LGBT initiatives. Knowing you're this cool AND that you support one of the communities I'm a part of really means a lot.
This is what its all about. Life is a meat grinder, Enjoy the ride with company
You said once you had a 3d printed bits box.. can you share it.. btw.. because of your bits box... I totally mixed up my bits box, and your right the creative free it cause way out weights the anxiety I had thinking about mixing it. Now I just keeps throwing more bits to it!
a pink horror is a kind of goblin
I was just listening to the Hive Scum pod where they were talking about this. Sounds hilarious!
Hella wholesome vid
Adepticon is love.
Meat grinder is the Roman Colosseum for gaming NERDS!!!!!!!
5:45 we need Robot Wars rules
I’ve never seen TNP Matt’s face before. I thought he was trying to be a perpetual man of mystery, he sign off on this?!

u making me cry 😭
WOOOOOOOO!
Was that miniwargaming Dave on the hazy memory machine?
Gotta be honest: Meatgrinder wouldn't be for me. I'd rather put my hand in that thing than let even my crappiest minis fall prey to it. Robot Wars sounds actually pretty fun. I'm fairly certain I've seen similiar rulesets with physics like that somewhere.
Hell yeah FIVERs work is great

Miscast, why not make taking bits (ie limbs, heads etc) part of a game/campaign. Battles of te Necromincers? Greedy covetous frankensteiners sending out monstrosities and literally taking parts in game. Pit stops, like formula one, arms dropping off from speedily converted Limboys? That way its collaboratie creative/destructive interactive permutation of the nation!
what is the name of the market??? I want to go there!
How only 1k view after 30 minutes?
Where are the rules to Meatgrinder (On someone's hard drive???). You better get a copy now (so you can recreate the event [not just the game, but the EVENT] in case of hard drive failure).
if you use a cathode ray tube, remember to eliminate very high frequencies, because it produces a whistling noise that is very annoying to some people's ears (these are rare cases, I am one of those), just like a dog whistle
For someone like me who dont have money or acess for minies it is just cringe
