Congratulations Devon, you have built something truly beautiful. Have followed from the early days of digging the foundations and never thought it'd be as stunning (or as spacious) as it is. @@devonloerop I have been a fan and doing research on alternatives to the traditional home building methods. It would be great if you could start your own S/C home building company. When you purchase in bulk you would be able to bring down the price for your costs and deliver the best goods that way.

i love the idea of stepping out of the bedroom and meeting face to face with Steve, or even spending a night out on the balcony terrace, and Steve being there, anyone not knowing the dog(s) might think they suddenly got Polar Bears outside there real sweet loving dogs the house looks magical as expected, but i am a little disappointed not to see the physical build which i always find enjoyable, partly because i can learn from the experience and possibly think of variations to your ideas, improvements and make them my own, not actually designed my house because its all in the head

Did I miss something? July '22 you were laying power then the next update is a tour video in March of '23. Did you post updates of the build somewhere else?

I used a product called lux architectural product for the metal siding and Timber Tech "Weathered Teak" decking.

Sure so I bought in the Kenai peninsula in a small town called Soldotna I purchased an acre and half for 16000. I put 6000. As down payment and I entered into a contract through first Alaska bank where I pay 112. A month for 5 years and I negotiated the interest with the property owner thru my realtor and as soon as all was done I can do what I want on my property just as if you entered a mortgage here in the lower 48. A lot of the properties are sold this way up there it’s really between the landowners the bank and the realtor just do the official contracts. If this helped any let me know if any other questions. Il ne faut pas être pudique😉. Ici en France, et surtout sur la Côte d’Azur , ce genre de constructions sont difficiles à faire construire😢…. Le Français reste encore "Neandertliens"🤣….
