tip for you Devon to get scent free laundry detergent. Lots of people have a hard time with scented things ESPECIALLY laundry detergent. Plus out there you want to smell the forest and nature not artificial scents. 🙃

Square footage? +/- 600? Very tasteful design. Perfect as a home in the woods for this single Boomer looking to downsize . Might have to play with all of those windows for the colder climate of New England. I’ll stay tuned for your follow-up vlogs of this beauty.

We’re nice but the sauna could be closer to the cold plunge

The end product turned out so well Devon! Love all the personal touches.

I'd move the grill to the deck (or do a nice built in grill/outdoor kitchen) near the cold plunge with a nice outdoor table near it. Otherwise really nice.

I would really like more information about the refrigerator. It looks like a slim tall refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom and separate drawers. Looking forward to your kitchen video hopefully you go into a little more detail on that refrigerator freezer and even have a link in that video to it please !

Curious about how you get around not obtaining a permit. Even if the state allows a 400 sq ft dwelling, I would think it cannot have utilities. Can you provide some context on this?

What a cool experience for your renters, this is your neighbors business?

Great job. My only suggestion is that if you're going to rent it out don't use light colored furniture and rugs/carpets. They will look dirty very quickly. Mottled or darker colors will look better over the long term.

So true as a host my guests complained about my white mattress cover looking dirty in my camping tent. Ummm it’s camping and you don’t sleep on the cover, so I dyed it brown to shut people up. It’s crazy. White is NOT your friend. Check out the Farm Safari Bell Tent at Willow Creek Retreat in Medical Lake WA so bougie and a horse grazing right on the other side of the creek outside the tent.

Was this cedar decking or treated? Kinda curious as it seems like a wet environment.

So dos the house not have any curtains or blinds? I know it’s in the woods, but I would feel really uncomfortable if I had no way of shutting off sight from the outside, plus my wife suffers from migraines so shutting out the lights is a must have.
