I'm disappointed. I thought this was going to be a biopic on Lady Jane Grey which would've been infinitely better than whatever this Temu Bridgerton rip-off is.

Jane Grey was a really interesting, really intelligent woman who died tragically young. This film/ series seems to have almost no interest in her at all. I love historical fantasy and I love alternative history. This is clearly the former and not the latter no matter how hard it pretends

Wow this has so many "modern audience" cliches all over it that I just got bingo. Seriously wonder how they are going to get around that the other person against her was another woman. Mary I was officially the heir to the throne, Lady Jane was just basically circumventing her because Edward wanted a Protestant. His scheme didn't work as the vast majority of the country supported Mary's claim. And its rather obvious since Lady Jane was Queen for about 9 days. And had a stress skin condition that wasn't pleasant. There is so much they are going to have to rewrite to make her look good. Or probably ignore. This is going to be a trainwreck of horrible writing and modern audience written all over it. And of course its Amazon prime lol.

But how can people still be interested in real history after watching all that terribly written trash? Why not make a sci-fi movie if you want to go overboard with costumes and have a diverse cast? Why mess up our already limited ideas about history?

I personally think that this show might get people interested in the real story, which could be a good thing. It's not being advertised as Truth Based, so I don't see the harm. Honestly, I am 56 years old and I didn't know much about the real story myself, but after seeing the trailer, I researched it. I respect your view however. I'm one to talk, "I'm still pissed off that they made the 21 Jumpstreet movies comedies when the TV series was serious "! And that was fiction. Hahahaha. Take care

This looks horrible. Lady Jane Grey is not represented in this series. She deserves more respect and honor than this series is presenting her as. I am actually a bit disgusted as a member of er family to see this gross representation of her.
