The original Danish version of this movie litterally traumatized me. Hands down, one of the most sinister, chilling and unforgiving thrillers that I've ever seen. I knew nothing about the movie when I watched it, and did not see it coming at all. This trailer is already giving away too much. My recommendation would be to first watch the Danish version if you can. It will haunt you.

OMG, IT TRAUMATIZED ME! That film was so terrifying. It was worse than all of the "horror" films I've seen. I hope they don't follow that movie scene for scene, because not only was I horrified by the movie, but I was SO incredibly frustrated with both parents (1. for not listening to their daughter when she begged to sleep next to them and 2. the dad for not being transparent with the mom about what he'd found out in the cabin! 😬).

Pretty good movie, a little short at about 3 minutes long, but they really built the characters and tied it all together very well.

The danish version was BORING AS HELL AND MAKES NO SENSE. Like why were they doing this? For taking the child? Could be done other ways and the boy in danish movie CLEARLY SPOKE when he was ordered to say sorry to the girl. Like wdf? The dumbest movie ever.

It's all sunshine and rainbows until the Blum House logo turns up. It always escalates quickly after that.

After seeing Macavoy play in glass I think this could be an excellent thriller movie. He literally makes you feel so at home and then can turn a switch in an instant and make you feel the absolute change. What an awesome actor.

The original was amazing, I know it's just a trailer but it seems to have added way more stuff while the orginal was very sinister and gave your the uneasy feeling by being more understated. Plus I think the cultural element adds to it immensely and explains why they ignored the red flags and stayed...

Exactly! The original was less in your face than this Hollywood remake. And the main characters were looking like normal everyday people, not buff or overly actressy.... I don't know... this one is just too American lol

I have watched the original a while ago and it was really dark and haunting. Looking forward to seeing this version, James portrayal seems to be very fitting, i really love his work. He is so versatile.

Scoot McNairy and Mackenzie Davis were on a TV show together called "Halt and Catch Fire". It was underrated but a good show.

McAvoy has an amazing ability to change his body from incredibly bulked up to slim. The first time I saw him he was playing a faun The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe or Leto Atreides in Children of Dune. Great actor.

James McAvoy has to be my absolute favorite actor. He plays protagonist and antagonist equally well.

I stumbled accross the original Danish version a few months ago by accident, and it was sooo good. Looking forward to this interpretation with the new cast

Very Great movie the ending is wierd though But Id wish for more 3min movies like this.

I will never understand the artistic purpose why these remakes are made... The Danish/Dutch culture is literally key to the plot in the original, it doesn't make any sense to give it an American spin. Be inspired but make up your own plot.

I’m going because I think this is James mcavoys 2nd villain role way after split and he was in a Scottish movie called Filth ware he played a antihero role and it’s a comedy drama I won’t spoil it for those who hasn’t but it was very good the ending of this trailer reminded me of a quiet place and if this kid is vocally def or on the autism spectrum that’s good either way there bringing more representation to both Communitys

I absolutely love James McAvoy. When I first saw Penelope he became my favorite actor. Him and Tom Hardy are great actors.

Took two seconds for me to realize this is a remake of one of my favorite 2022 horror movies. It was disturbing and frustrating and I can’t wait to understand more of the nuance now that I can understand the language and culture

This feels like it will give me the same anxiety as Funny Games.

I guess script writers arent smart enough to know Voice is generated by airflow from the lungs. When the air from the lungs blows through the vocal folds at a high speed, the vocal folds vibrate. The vibrations lead to sounds we call voice. Cutting a persons tongue out wont stop them from producing sound... At least make stuff somewhat believable for smart people.

James McAvoy kills it in any movie he stars in. Just a wondeful versatile amazing actor. I can't wait to see it. 😊😊😊😊😊😊

You probably won't believe that such a cowardice can be real, but I witness something similar. I think it's a cultural thing. I was in UK at my cousins wedding. We arrived early and went out for a few drinks. It was really late, and we decided to head back. We were quiet, minded our own business, when a group of teenagers attacked us, demanding we gave them all our money. I stood my ground, my cousin from Germany as well, but our friends from Sweeden emptied their pockets in seconds and gave them all their content (money, cell phones..). I was thinking, what the fuck? Why? They replied they were not even ONCE in their lives in a confrontation and they grew up different than us so they just froze. Now put this cultural difference in this situation and see what happens.
