Riley and Sam have perfect chemistry together, you'd swear that they'd known each other all of their lives. I liked that the ending was hopeful about their reconciliation.

Okay please. PLEASE give us a season 2. The story writes itself. After 20 years and seeing the documentary, the band decides to get back together for a reunion tour. The drama is there. It's perfect.

Honestly i don't think there is any need for it. And if there is a season 2 it could just be about Daisy's rise to fame as a solo artists.

I see Daisy and Billy as cosmic love. See, it's like once on a lifetime this type of connection. It was connection beyond music, and beyond the desire and love they had for each other, it's a connection of two souls. I liked that the final scene was open for a future of them together, not so happy about Camila's death tho.

I know this was originally planned to be a mini-series, but I agree - we need Season 2.

Two words: Season. Two. Seriously, give us a 90s reunion tour loaded with all the unfinished business they're all nodding at in the last ten minutes of S1E10. After all, the 90s reunification of Fleetwood Mac is why we have that particular performance of Silver Springs that informs/inspires the origin of this book/series in the first place. You know which one...

@Tori Holmes it's happened before. The first season of Handmaid's Tale covered the entire book so every season after that was written just for the show. I think the author was involved with the new material for continuity and sounds TJR would also be involved if a 2nd season is greenlit.

nope - nowadays every tv screen couple is having great cheistry - but here it’s really unauthentic acting on her part and i don’t feel any authentic chemistry - if feels forced actually

I totally missed this detail in the show, and I'm not sure if it's significant or even in the novel since I haven't read it, but I just realized Billy shaves his beard when he goes to see Daisy :') kinda makes me think he did it to "clean himself up" for her and so that she could see a reflection of his younger self while also showing how he's matured over the years they've been apart.

Best limited series I have ever seen. Riley and Sam are absolute perfection. In fact, the entire cast is perfect. Loved the book. Love this even more. Can’t stop thinking about it.

Riley Keough's acting when he says she's "so like broken" it's so subtle but so brilliant, the sadness is in her eyes it's actually crazy.

Billy Dunne. Sam also starred in "Love, Rosie" where Rosie Dunne was his love interest..and Suki Waterhouse(Karen) was his wife.

Riley and Sam are perfect, brilliant on the show.

I love this adaptation but I hate that they made Camila so insecure and love triangly...in the book she was such a unique character because she trusted Billy and didn't care about his relationship with Daisy (even if it was temporarily love) because she knew that she had her husband no matter what.

I think this Camilla was maybe more realistic but my absolute favorite aspect of the book was that she intercedes and essentially saves her “rival’s” life. I enjoyed the adaptation but agree that this ended up being more of a typical trope.

book camila is indeed a unique character but she doesn't feel like a real person imo. i liked camila more in the show, she felt more human. i think she should be allowed to be upset that her husband was cheating on her - that doesn't make her less strong! and i loved that she made the decision to leave billy and didn't take him back until after he got his shit together

I think she's more real in the series but I agree in the sense that they should've explained Billy's motives more in depth. Like the series doesn't explain too well why Billy thought Daisy was so dangerous to him (bc of the drugs) and how he felt Camila and their kids were basically the only reason he didn't relapsed/ruined his life. But it was still a great show I'm not as mad by the changes

​@@franugbook was definitely more straightforward about this idea because we got to hear everything the characters had to say (truthful or not) but i feel like it was definitely implied in the show and not even in a subtle way. re: daisy's "love can be peace" speech and camila and billy's conversation at the hotel balcony

I really need y’all to come up with another season of this. Can the author of the book get to writing? I don’t want it to be over! LOL oh and the last episode. All I can say is I cried so much I had a stuffy, yet runny nose, blood shot eyes and couldn’t speak without my husband knowing I was crying my eyes out. 😂

@@gw7314 can’t compare Camilla cheating to Billy cheating. Ok sure, she’s wrong for physically cheating but let’s be honest, Billy pushed her into the arms of another man. Let’s look at the context of both cheating. Camila: Billy literally went out everyday cheating, lying, and neglecting his wife and marriage and expected his wife to just stay home and deal with it…even though she tried but he kept on making her feel unwanted and insecure. Billy: Had a perfectly supportive and loving wife waiting at home for him with their daughter, wanting to hear about his day and being patient with him. It’s also about the fact that Camila didn’t keep entertaining or cheating with Eddie. It happened once and made it clear that it’ll never happen again. Billy didn’t do that, he kept cheating and lying. She literally just wanted him to be honest with her.

Loved Daisy Jones and the six. The cast was brilliant❤ Been a Presley fan for ever. Love the way Riley has been so professional through all her heart ache. You are my hero such a strong beautiful soul❤ Pray for you always.

season two would be incredible! it could start after the 20 years has passed and billy and daisy meet up again. they could write the song for camila. the band could get back together and do a reunion tour.

It's unconditional love.. Sometimes people can cheat but they choose to di the right thing.

Daisy and Billy are both forest fires. Drawn together because of the chaos and energy.

Rod he had some hilarious parts throughout show. Like when the band first showed up at the Mansion ROD answers Then he invites them in sits down and everyone asking for example A Pot Of Gold 😂 so Rod is taking this all in mind 🙁 then says sure man “ Are you a bunch of freaking idiots?” The guys step back in 😩😩. I found this scene hysterical

I love these two. I think I am the only one who didn't like Camila at all. I felt she thought she was I don't know better.. I felt he only stayed with her because he didn't want to be like his father or not have stayed with the mother of his child. And that they made him go off the wagon to make Daisy look like the bad option, where if he didn't feel the the need to be the perfect husband and family man to someone he loved but wasn't in love with he won't have...

Don't really agree; I thought Camila was an amazing character and she just loved her husband; she didn't think she was better, she always tried to understand what was going on with everyone, including her husband and Daisy. She kept the band together for a long time too, she was like the understanding mother to the group. She wasn't perfect either, but she just wanted to have her family together. But I totally understand the love between Billy and Daisy; I'm sure after they both cleaned up again, they would be great together; that's why we need a second season of this, it's too good to let go of. She never tried to act better at all. She even said that she tried seeing him open up to her but he couldnt (That means he doesnt love her? my assumption), but the difference is that Daisy sees the flawed man he is, but Camila made him better, made him realize what he's doing is hurting people around him. The whole debacle with Daisy and her husband, I mean are u kidding me? do u want to be in that toxic relationship where u have to find a husband just to make Billie starts on making a move to her?

@@gabbyatkinson8939 in my opinion, it’s the showrunners trying to tell us that he is stable, mature and not the wild card and mess he was in his earlier days, also wanting control over himself in a maybe stifling way. when he visits daisy, his hair is still straighter, but not coiffed, normal looking. but it’s still absolutely ridiculous. also, if they went for bowie, the ridiculousness goes over the ceiling: bowie is magnificent and this is just sam claflin role playing a mature what’s his face. the show wasn’t bad, the acting is sometimes really bad, the docu style shit is risible, but there are good moments, some of the music is really good, some is weak and stupid, but some of these choices, especially for the older makeup, were bad, and could have elevated things if they were better.

I think he wore it straight as to show he had changed and more in control of his life. When he had it curly he was wild and messed up. Still kept it long as to hold on to his youth. As you see when he goes to Daisy’s door it isn’t as straight as he had been wearing and not as wild as in the past either but a little wave is showing like he is ready to have both and handle the past and future with Daisy.

There will NOT be a season 2 according to an article with Riley in Variety April 16th 2024. 😐
