Everyone has already referred to MALINDA as the siren, but the beginning of this song gave me goosebumps and makes me see why the sirens were so deadly in all the stories. Her voice just has a way of capturing your brain and putting everything else on pause while you listen to it. Crazy

Just incredible. Each version of this song is haunting and eerie and beautiful and alluring in its own way. With yours, it's a mourning siren. With Ashley, it's a hunting predator. With Ginny Di, it's a cunning trickster. However it comes, it's amazing and beautiful and deadly and I love it.

Imagine this scenario: One night when the sea is calm, you decide to sail out to relax a little bit, and so after some time you sail into a hidden cove/lagoon where the water is nice and flat(no hard waves) and you sit...listening to silence when all of a sudden, a beautiful girl sits upon a rock in the middle of the lagoon and singing this. Instantly you notice her eyes yellow as a golden nugget hair filled with water droplets looking like a starry sky...

A song like this makes me think of a universe where sirens were once humans in love who perished from drowning in the sea and now they use their voices to lure new people in to drown the way they did. And this particular siren in life had once been in love with a sailor but eventually could no longer cope with his absence.

I feel so relaxed listening to this song by you at the end of a hard day.

Wow. Incredible talent you have there, cherish it :) While I never had your skill, I remember the joy singing gave me when I sang in a choir as a kid. When my voice broke, instead of learning to sing with my new ragister, I quit, mourning the high notes I could no longer reach. I regret not carrying on with it, but still try to sing the odd song now and then, when I can hit all the notes!
