Its time to install the Holley Terminator X Max kit! This has been a long time coming, and if you’ve been a subscriber then you know what I’m talking about!
The cammed 5.3 runs great, but needed a better ecu to control it. And the Holley Terminator X max fits the bill.
Stay tuned for next weeks video for a test drive and more!!

how did it the transmission shift in 4 low ?? have heard alot of people having issues with terminator and VSS sensor in 4l60 and 4l80... i want to use the holley system in my swap, but worry about the 4 low shifting

@@jamesmoss9040 as long as the speed sensor for trans is before the tcase then 4 low shift points are the exact same rpm as 2wd, the issue is when you have the vss in the tcase for the ecm

Please do an update on heat and how the 4L60 is going… I first ran my 5.3 with Jeep and Chevy computers and an NV3550 But later swapped to 4L60 and that just wrecked me the 4L60 doesn’t like heat and the heat coming into the cabin was just awful…. How’d you guys solve this if you did have to deal with it… I’m running a gryphon 3 row aluminum

Wow that's a lot of work. I swapped a used mopar A4 into my cj3. Only need engine, engine mounts and trans mounting plate. 375+ hp and 2330 lbs same power to weight ratio as a hellcat. It almost beats a hellcat in the quarter mile. It will run e85, race gas, nitro, nos, and up to 4 turbos.

What trans are you running? What gear ratio are your axles? I am starting to collect data on swapping an L84 LT into my LJ. I'm leaning towards a 4L70E trans since the overdrive ratio is close to the 42RLE, and the OAL works with the novak adapter putting the transfer case in the stock location. Here is my problem, im running 5.38 with currie built axles. I dont want to regear!! I had 4.88 , but with the .69 overdrive and I 6 motor it sucked with 35's, so i spent a ton and went currie and 5.38. Do you think going to 37's will be enough to avoid a regear?

Where's the idle set to? If it's a stock truck engine, you can let it idle at the factory 550~ RPM (GM trucks like to idle lower than other manufacturers)
