Tbh sorry to say but lalisa was kind of disappointment for me. Starting with the mv , i think many things were going on in it and it made it a look a bit too much , there was no need of adding this many aesthetics in just one video. I am not a fan of the chorus either. And someone please give our girl a better choreo. Also i was expecting a song with a bit more deep meaning , where she express her feelings and all but this song is suiting her personality so i guess it's fine. Now coming on the positive points i absolutely love lisa's visuals , she was slaying each and every look. I am happy that lisa is rapping , i think she has improved a lot. I love it when she rap in english. Also that thailand part of the mv is my absolute favourite. Overall saying it was not bad at all but kind of disappointing ( atleast for me ). These are just my personal opinions. No hate towards anyone.

Her waving her arms in the chorus is lame and she's such an amazing dancer, she could've pulled out something better. But that's on the choreographer. 2: Kpop mvs typically stick with one aesthetic. she had FOUR different aesthetics which was too much. It was like a mv mashup. 3: Having a song titled Lalisa and talking about how great you are the whole time is cringe. Was expecting something deeper but it wasn't good. Is that her fault? No, Teddy needs to be fired asap and let her produce her own shit. People are allowed to have their opinions, and there's no need to defend Lisa when the oc wasn't being rude.

Like the person in the above comment said we don't need to see a full dance practice to know what the basic choreography of the song is and it was underwhelming especially for a dancer like lisa. 2. Yes they have a lot of scenes and sometimes aesthetic can be different in two scenes of same mv ( and it's not that common in kpop ) but still they look part of that same mv and matches the theme. Here there are wayy too many aesthetics in just one mv of few minutes. Some of the were totally out of place andI liked lisa's visuals not mv's. Lisa was looking stunning in the mv. 3. Even if it's just her name , chorus is not pleasing at all. And like i mentioned in my comment , it is my opinion and i am disappointed with the song as i expected something better. I mentioned above why it was disappointing for me i am not gonna explain again and again. Learn to respect someone's opinion.

Also I think what really sold me on this song was the mv and the second rap with her Thai background. To me this seemed like the best part of the whole thing and made it worth it. Also even though you do get tired of her saying her name, the chorus is very catchy which is important.

Some information as a thai: The gold dress is Thai traditional dress consist of “sabai” that made from traditional brocade golden silk with ancient pattern and the head piece is called “ radklao”. The outfits is also decorated with Swarovski’s crystal. This outfit was made by ASAVA, same brand that made miss universe Thailand 2016’s outfits. So it’s made especially for Lisa☺️

I've been a big lisa stan ever since aiiyl era, but the solo just didn't live up to her as an idol and as an individual. The song is called Lalisa, HER NAME, and yet the only lyrics that represents her is the thai scene. I enjoyed the opening instrumentals and her vocals there, but it went downhill from there I'm so sorry :// The rap part with the megaphone was also eh, the lyrics, the lyrics!!! who wrote them!!! who's coming for her man????!!! bam bam bam???? what?! The pole dancing was really cool though and really proud of her for trying and excelling at this new genre of dance :)) All in all, who wrote the lyrics I wanna talk. The only redeemable lyrics was the "jet black crown on we". Not to mention money, I wanted to enjoy it, and I think I can come to terms with it, if only there wasn't the "dolla bills" part. But there were some lyrics that seemed quite unoriginal? Like "make money move" it's a well known phrase from Cardi B's song, so I don't see why the composer couldn't come up with something more unique. Instrumentals were def nice and Lisa pulled off the ending really well. Just a thought I had, but Dumb Dumb would've really fit Lisa imo as a title track. The vibes? The lyrics are eh but the vibes are emmaculate. And her vocals also seem to fit that type of enthusiasm.

the megaphone one especially was very cringey. What-- who came up with that lyrics? and it sounded so out of place. The starting is decent and it went downhill after that. Imagine a song about Lisa- not her wealth and fame or how badass she is- but her own monologue of her struggle and journey to reach where she is today. Like how a Thai, at such young age went to Korea to pursue her dreams. I believe it will be a more personally emotional and more meaningful song for a debut. This kinda boasting and flaunting wealth song is typical and sadly cliche like there's nothing meaningful in the lyrics - it's just to target easy marketing with Lisa's already high popularity with easy, repetitive chorus. I'm sorry but it's a major let down, the Thai touch in the mv however is amazing. But only that. The rest is underhelming and just wanna show how badass she is.

When I first heard Money I wasn't that impressed. But the more I listen to it the more it gets swaggy and hip. I could make so many cool choreos on my head too. I guess I fell inlove to the song! LALISA is not what I expected. But the entire song is so diverse that you couldn't call it "bad" because there's gonna be for everyone. Some parts aren't that hitting but most of them slays. She rocked this album! Edit: Lmao people be really aggressively hating on the song and on my opinion. 😂 It's what I think and it's my opinion, why are y'all acting like you know me better than myself. The song (Lalisa) was underwhelming for me at first, but the more I listened to it the more I liked it. I love the song now and my only complaint is that it has no good climax. The last chorus is kind of boring if I’m being honest. I like the b-side Money but Lalisa is definitely the star of the show here lol I think out of all the solo title tracks from the pinks so far, Lisa’s is my favorite. But if we’re talking song in general, Rosé’s b-side is still my favorite. Gone is just a masterpiece.

YAASS I agree like lalisa is better than otg but gone is better than money I really can’t compare gone and lalisa bc lalisa was really about preforming and confidence while gone was rose experimenting with writing break up songs sooo there soooo different

I honestly expected so much more from her, the MV is stunning, but the song itself is so repetitive and gets so annoying after a while from all the Lalisa’s.. the choreo was so underwhelming considering she’s one of the top female dancers in the industry. I’m glad she’s getting much hype from her first solo debut, but hope for a better one in the future.

I didn’t like any of the songs and would not listen to them on their own. And that’s ok, I still love Lisa as a person and hope she has success. Also I consider this a safe space to voice opinions. Things I liked: -THE MV crazy scenes and editing -the gold part mucially was just so satisfying and on point, (visuals too) wish it lasted longer -Lisa’s performance quality is always top tier! - I had very high hopes since I hold Lisa in such a high regard although it’s her first solo song Things I didn’t like: It felt like the whole album was channeling cardi b as a whole (which was obvious inspiration and isn’t bad) but I wish I could’ve seen more of Lisa’s unique style of rapping since the concept was so centered around her -Lisa is secure in the industry as an idol (therefore she should be able to take a few risks) but the whole album and everything felt safe. The song felt like it was trying to cater to every fan possible (with that made the song sound more generic while at the same time 4 different songs). - The choreography felt like it was only made to be easy to copy for more exposure which is weird when Lisa’s dancing is her superpower. -Money felt like a Women in US hip hop/rap trend (cardi b, meg, doja, nicki,etc) that YG decided to push because Lisa can fit that image.The music was okay but didn’t really push any boundaries (other than maybe the Thai inspiration which was amazing I wish there was more of that). I just really appreciate artistry in music and wanted to see what uniqueness Lisa has to bring. - I just wish the album felt more like a breath of fresh air. Because lisa herself I consider to be a breath of fresh air in the kpop world.

This is my honest opinion. this is the edited version After reading the comments and watching the explanation of lisa. I do find the mv fitting and showing her character. It suits her style, personality and her roots. But i still have mixed feeling about the summer vibe scenes no matter how many times i watched it. As for the song. I think the song is great, catchy and trendy. Definitely a song that fits her style. I especially like the intro, chorus, the rap from the pole dance and the rap from the thai scene(iconic af). You can definitely see Lisa improved in her rapping skills. I actually expecting more of a fuller beat? 'Cause every time I hear the song there's actually something missing to it. As for the choreo, after watching the one on stage, I'm a bit disappointed. They've definitely did a dance that can be a tiktok trend, it's a smart move since it'll be able to promote lisa's song in different platform but i was expecting a dance like boombayah. Since she's the main dancer of the group, I think a lot of people expected dances that has similar vibes to her covers in lilifilm(I'm saying vibes not the dance). Maybe because it's her first time singing alone and not as a group, so she wont struggle that much when singing/rapping. But, I do love the break dance from the thai scene. I'M LITERALLY IN LOVE WITH MONEY RIGHT NOW ESPECIALLY WHEN LISA SANG DOLLAR BILLS Overall it's a good debut song that really suits her personality and showcase herself. After analyzing the lyrics, I do find some parts deep and some that aren't. I do wish her comeback can be in a more personal level, where we can see a side we haven't seen from her(not forcing her though). They're already 5 years in the industry but since they usually comeback once a year we hardly see any behind the scenes, the most one was from their documentary and she opened up a lot at YWY3. I think a theme or beats like pretty savage or how u like that will also giver her justice as a comeback. But her comeback mght take 3 years lol

I think one of the best examples of a grest solist artist's song is maria. Yes hwasa talks about herself but she is not just saying "i'm the greatest, i'm a godess" she is talking about her story and not talking ABOUT herself, she is talking TO herself

As much as Lisa did her best ... imma give props to YG editors , videographer and everybody else ... coz if it wasn't stitched properly handling so many scenes could be a disaster but it came out great ... About Money i m not quiet sure if i like it as much as Lalisa ... but overall i m not disappointed with Lisa ... she did a great job 😃😃

There's something underwhelming about the song. It's by no means bad and the raps are just straight fire but the melody of the actual song is very repetitive and plain. But what disappointed me the most was the dance aspect. I really was looking forward for awesome choreo because Lisa is the dance queen but the choreo was pretty boring and simple.

Lisa just uploaded a dance on her IG which is pretty strong.... I wish they incorporated it more in the MV. Also, I love the starting and then the rap but there comes a point where they say LALISA too many times and 😬😬😬 not sure how I feel about it. Not in a positive way that's for sure. I like money a lot, the melody, the beat, chef’s kiss. The lyrics, didn’t scream lisa to me, but more like cardi (prechorus I think). I did kinda cringe with some of the lyrics (chorus specifically) cuz the way I perceived it is a shallow person showing their love for money. But it’s a good song, I can imagine bomb choreographies created using that song. Lalisa hasn’t grown on me yet. Maybe cuz I was expecting a swag/haunting feel cuz of the teasers, but the song ended up bright, confident cutesy vibe. Well I like the parts individually, more than as a whole. Ngl I was disappointed with the choreo, I was expecting a lilifilm level choreo. They went for a cutesy step for “lalisa love me, lalisa love me” Like I can imagine lisa dancing with swag and sass instead of those moves. I’ve heard Lisa’s great vocals when she sang “L.O.V.E, hope not, etc. Like that was a wow for me, but I can’t say the same for the 2 singles. I hope it sounds even better live, I’m excited to se her perform, also anticipating for her collab w/ DJ snake

Honestly the first time I heard this song, I was disappointed. And I felt that there were 4 distinct parts that were just put together. But then I watched it again, I liked it a lot more. There were so many different sets, like wow. YG invested into this, and rightly so. I was hoping that this solo would show off her amazing dancing, and I'm still disappointed that she didn't get a proper dance break,(cos the beat is so addicting, and with Lisa dancing, a dance break is what we need fr) but I guess this song needs a lot of energy already, so makes sense. I think Lisa was trying to show different sides of Lisa, her versatility, and who she is in real life. The different types of music in one song proves that she wants to share to everyone that there are so many things she can and wants to do.

this is just what i think but the song is such a mess. i feel like the producers are trying to push this “swag” and “im a bad b” image on her to the point where they overdid it. money was also mediocre and the lyrics were all over the place. lisa has so much potential why did teddy do her so dirty im mad 😩😩

But that isn't her fault and has nothing to do with her. Teddy and the others that were involved composed the song. She said in the interview herself when she heard the song with her name repeated multiple times, she was kind of sceptical. Lisa solo is the best to know her more. LALISA and MONEY has deep meaning to it. If you follow Lisa journey from the start and put that into a song this is it. I'm not a music axpert so I don't understand the details of the whole thing. It's just that I can't listen to the song more than once. One time is enough for me. As for money I stopped listening the first 40 seconds. I expected much more from Lisa's solo to the point I was intimidated. It was underwhelming and disappointing. Blinks are going to hype it of course and it'll have a temporary success. I wish her all the best in her future songs. She deserves the best.

(To clarify‼️) I absolutely adore Lisa and this is just my own opinion. The visuals were my favourite of any of the solos mv’s. The gold just made it feel so expensive and the homage to the Thai culture was great 😩😩 the motorbike and the pole dancing scene was chefs kiss But as for the song, I just wasn’t feeling it. I definitely don’t hate it but I am underwhelmed. The chorus was catchy, especially the lalisa part but I couldn’t help feel that something was missing in it. The rap was a little off for me too, I know Lisa’s capabilities and she’s an amazing rapper but I felt like the rap could’ve been something more. Like the rap was badly written and I know Lisa is a very capable writer so I wish she wrote it instead but like the throat trail thing at the end of when she’s speaker is off putting and it doesn’t sound nice to the ears 😭The choreo was fine and I had nothing wrong with it, it didn’t have to exactly be too complicated since it is a solo. Although I wish there was a dance break for her since she is the main dancer ofc When I first heard of her solo I thought it wouldve had more pop elements. Like beat drops and some really cat cjy production and stuff, but if I only blisters to the instrumental first without the lyrics it would’ve lowkey sounded a little underwhelming. I love how both songs are VERY different beat-wise. They somehow fit SO WELL together in the album I was shooketh. Overall, this album WAS DEFINITELY A HIT!! For me at least.

I sometimes feel bad for Lisa also, I mean imagine working so hard only for your work to not even be judged fairly because you're THAT popular. She won't ever even know the constructive criticisms of her fans because they won't even pay attention to her work, they just keep streaming as if they want to be responsible for the success of the mv and music which sadly becomes true. How are they her fans if they are ready to defend her no matter what even when she has every right to be taken seriously as an artist and not just "your bias". This is why everyone said it was unfair Jennie had to go solo during the yg scandal and all the one thing good that came out of that was she was judged fairly and proved her worth, it was pure talent and art not a stream party.

imo, it was good but it was a bit less then my expectations I feel like she could've done better ngl its pretty good but I feel like the hype wasn't there. money will save this album periodt

When it come to solos they should have the main input and inspiration come from the artists themselves, I understand the need of producers and guidance and perfecting but this solo was overly produced without enough input and originality coming from Lisa herself

It's not a song that I will listen often! Lalisa was the most anticipated solo song, I wish YG had put same effort in the song as much as the MV!

I am not a Hip-Hop fan so I don't enjoy too much Hip-Hop song. But I Was stunned to see Lisa, The song did not touch me That Much But Lisa's Charisma And her swag got me.

At first, I cannot process with it because the editing were confusing and the scene were changing like in seconds not in smooth way. The part that I can really focus was the first scene with the cruella's style, the POLISA AND POLE DANCE, and her THAI's scene. I can only catch to that scene. But the more I listen to it the more I get addicted to it. The more I watch it the more I get used to it's editing and swift changing scene. And yes, the POLE DANCE AND THAI'S SCENE IS REALLY ICONIC.

First lalisa was my favorite, but listening money for 4 times, it was actually my favourite now. I was addicted to (drop the money dropped like the money) part like crazyyyy... Sooo sooo soooo goof

I'm gonna be honest. Lisa is my bias and I will ALWAYS support her. She deserves everything! I LOVED the MV, the OUTFITS, the choreography, all the rap parts are iconic but I think the chorus has too many sirens and there is something missing in there, I don't know, it feels weird.

To be honestt, song as a whole doesn't sound good. Only part I like is golden part. The dance break was so boring. She can't shine a whole song but she can shine a part of song . It's like bp. But no addicting or catchinhh

Honestly being a KPOP Stan for 10 years; Lalisa is the most YG sounding song I have heard in a while. Like literally.

I expected so much from her Album.....but Lisa still exceeded all of my expectations!!!!

I love it at first I wasn’t into it but after like the 4th time did I get how much this song is so lalisa. I feel like it’s her transition from girly to cool. Like she was demonstrating blackpink in one song. And I’m now obsessed with lalisa And my favorite part of the song hands down is the gold part bc the dancing and her sing I loved it

I feel like the album was rushed and just poorly produced. Our girl has soooooo much talent and potential but the lyrics seemed weird and it’s not it. Yg should let her write her own lyrics. The songs were underwhelming for me and it feels like more American vibes. No hate lalisa is good but she could’ve done so much better

No hate on lisa . She's my bais in BP. The visuals and the swag were good and all. But the lyrics were kinda cringy.. I mean...I understand this is a song about herself...But like...how many times do they have to repeat the chorus.....It's just my honest opinion....Since it's 'Lisa' and she's multitalented and she's popular , she pulled it off..

Things that would have made Lisa's solo a lot better: -an edm drop ,people criticised it in otg and solo cuz they wanted more vocals, but it would have been preferable for Lisa since she's not a vocalist and we could have had strong Dance moves. -lisa style, now hear me out, solo had a pretty cuty image which is jennie vibes otg had softer more nostalgic acoustic style like rosé, but lalisa was more of a BP vibe rather than a lisa vibe ,she's swaggy and chill, they focused on her duality wich she's really known for but it ended up a blend of the pink and black concepts. -orgnization :the cute badass ratio was bad in a way where the cute scenes felt so out of the blue and overall odd to see after all of that, then we cut back to even stronger vibes wich made the transition as smooth as sandpaper, sorry not sorry. A fuckin Dance break:a top tier dancer yet she is forced to do beginners level moves for it to be viral, but with a giant fan base an elaborate Dance or just a dance break after the song would spark more praise but oh well ,yg is always money hungry 🤷. -also side note, but whether she was forced or by herself, doing a balccent on the 2nd verse won't make the song hip nor swag it was unnecessary. I'm a poc BTW. Rating:lalisa- 6/10 ,money 4.5to 5/10.(you sure cardi didn't write it for her as a gift for the byw collab?) It was a nice debut, but not the best, I wouldn't compare it to the other members debuts, the visuals , cultural references and sets made up for it and it's catchy af ,but in a Spotify playlist I would hardly listen to it till the end. Teddy, step your game up mate the formula gon expire 🚶‍♀️🙌 and I am not complaining about the song ,I have thousands of others to listen to, just pinpointing some things to boost the quality to the max. The song grew on me lol

Heres my personal opinion: the song didnt hit at first. Like seriously when I first listened to it, I listed so many cons. But now Its growing on me (like many BP songs do) Some Cons: (what I think =/= what everyone else thinks btw) 1) Too many aesthetics clashed. Looked kinda messy (but i sorta love it in a way? if that makes sense) 2) I still don’t know the purpose and meaning of the song. (TBH I wish Lisa incorporated a deeper meaning. I know not all songs have to have double meanings but seriously, ‘money and me+ more me’ gets old and cringy sometimes honestly was expecting more, but I guess thats my fault for expecting too much. 3) FROM WHAT WE KNOW NOW AND WHAT WE CAN SEE SO FAR, the dance looks pretty underwhelming (and we definitely know the Dancing Queen can bust out better moves than this). 4) I just couldnt feel the flow of the song. Like what I said at first, its pretty messy so it was hard to find out which direction the music was going. Some Pros: 1) Lisa looks absolutely gorgeous and stunning in each scene. Seriously! shes an absolute attention thief (in the best way possible XD) 2) The chorus!! (as cringe as it may be) ITS ADDICTIVE AS HELL. I’ve caught my self singing “Lalisa love me Lalisa love me” after hearing it for the first time XD. 3) THE INCORPORATION OF THAI CULTURE!! I LOVE. End thoughts: I think people will say I’m complaining about the song(cause tbh I kinda am) but I think many of us were just disappointed because Lisa is capable of so much more!! I know for sure this song is gonna grow on me cause thats the power of Lisa hahaha XD. But hey its okay, because this is just her solo debut and tbh, it was a pretty damn good one, (maybe not for some) but definitely for most. We all know Lisa is gonna release even more bangers. Because Lisa has so many fans, this song is for sure going to be a success and Im so happy for her!! So lets all support Ms Lalisa Manoban’s solo journey and stream LALISA!!

Actually, the chill apparently ice cream scene in Lalisa MV, shows the Cite side of Lisa... Lisa said this song will show all her sides... so that part represents her Cute and Fun side...

LALISA was perfection haters can choke and die.... I need more time with MONEY tho...

Why i feel disappointed about LALISA is the main part it is so cringe and the beat is kinda boring! And she repeated it so many times! And the sets were so many! But other than that was perfect

How is it ruining the fun for you if someone didn’t like the song as much as you did, we all have different taste. This is why blinks are afraid to say their honest opinion without being bullied by their own fandom.

At first, Money is not that good when i first heard it but after Playing again and again it started to getting addictive just like LALISA at first don't like the beat but after watching and Playing it, it get more addictive and now i can't get it out of my head

I love Lisa a lot and was so excited for her solo but I was really underwhelmed. There was a few parts that I like in Lalisa but I didn't like it. I had to listen a few times to start liking it. I really like Money, it has a really hip and almost motivational tone to it. I can definitely see myself using Money to manifest. The songs were great the part the was the most underwhelming for me were the visual teasers. More specifically the visual teaser with the water and chain. I was curious to see how that would fit into Lalisa when it came out but was left disappointed, what did the teasers have to do the the solo??

Lalisa song was beyond my expectations, it was a masterpiece and it deserves a soty, but I don’t think award shows will give it to her

I loved the MV but the song was so messy in my opinion. Money is growing on me but it’s too short. Kind of disappointed in my opinion :/
