Rose vocals are really good

Rosé was the best performer, both solo and group wise. Her vocals were out of this world, and her dance, her own added little steps and jumps, expressions, stage presence were on point and the raps that she got, in some songs, though short, were awesome. She added some extra spice and hype words, especially during Tally. For those who closely follow her also understood the On The Ground line change 👀👀 and it only made the performance even more perfect. All in all, she was great in every aspect and she was enjoying herself and making sure the audience is always entertained too. Rosé is really consistent so it's not surprising, but locals who went to Coachella were charmed by her and it proves that her praise is not due to biasness, but because Rosé is phenomenal.

Rosé doesn’t need any back track at all. She literally eats and the fact that she was walking for majority of her solo while singing is just amazing to me. Considering the fact that Jennie was the first one to perform she had the shortest break. It amazes me how they even managed to change her hairstyle from wavy hair to pigtails and braids in just 5 minutes. Week 2 was even more puzzling to me cause Jennie had braids in the first part of the show than suddenly her hair turned straight during the second part. Like the girl didn’t have much time to prepare))

I think some people are forgetting that Jisoo had to prepare her solo while still being on tour and rehearsing for coachella as well. She deserves credit. I'm not surprised seeing her solo stage not having any changes, cause the girl barely had any time to breathe. Her solo stage was amazing imo but i do admit that she did better in terms of vocals in week 2. I feel like a a lot of people kinda forget that this woman had to prepare multiple stuff at the same time, but the fact that she came through and gave a facinating performance is amazing and she deserves praise. Some of you guys in the replies needs to open your eyes and see that this woman was still doing her solo promotions when they were rehearsing for coachella. She did not have the time to change anything since she also had to learn new choreographies for their songs. And the the ones talking about her not being able to sing, it's time for you to stop being in denial and see that Jisoo can sing very well and she is very talented. It's not like they are asking for those long hiatuses, but everyone knows how shit YG is at managing BP. But you are totally missing the point. It was confirmed in january that they would headline Coachella, which means they had to find time to practise for it while they were on a world tour. Yes but everything is always about Jennie and Lisa. No one gives credit where it’s due. Jisoo worked hard and she deserves to be noticed for staying consistent throughout Coachella and the tour even though she was probably exhausted.

Jennie had to perform first so she barely got any time to change or rest so that explains why her hair was simple and why she might’ve been out of breath since unlike the others, she wasn’t allowed to take a break

Lisa solo was amazing. She has that good energy and was so in sync with her backup dancers

I like the way Jennie shouted Coachella while performing u and me.....u and me is a slow melodic song it's an unfit for festivals like Coachella but she lighten up the environment by doing it.... Nothing but this small things are important while u are a performer.... Jisoo's stage was not bad but I feel if she doing this kind of things it was a fun to watch

She has literally shown her best performance and stage presence yet this time at Coachella and in week 2 she's proved all haters wrong regarding her vocals. But I do agree with you that All eyes on me suits the festival vibe more. I totally understand that you're heavily biased toward Rose, but if you are making critic videos, shouldn't you at least try not to fan girl over her so much?? Also, it is not that Lisa can't sing it's just that she has more dancing to do than the rest of them and really her not singing those notes isn't a problem. Lol, she isn't biased it's true that Rosé is actually vocally stable, as because her notes are always supported, whereas Jennie sometimes strains her notes but still average and Jisoo strains a lot tbh but she did improved a little(the fact is when I first became a Blink I used to think that Jisoo always sings maybe she is the most stable but after hearing the other Vocalist in Kpop, you can really differentiate between a forced vocal note and a supported vocal note)

Full shade to YG dancers, from the couple of videos I’ve watched, their dancers at Coachella ATE! American dancers are trained differently, they give off a different vibe, they actually PERFORM! Even to the point of outperforming the actual artist. When they curse it’s funny to me, it’s super cringey. Also, let’s talk about those videos going around of their recent performance, they just went back to their lazy ways right away 🤣

Lisa and her team knows her limits. That's exactly why her stages main focus was her intro + various dances + using her being a charismatic and consistent performer to the fullest = most entertaining. Honestly they played their hand the best and even with average talent Lisa comes out on top. Whoever was behind the idea of her stage is super smart and knows their client well , if it was Lisa giving the ideas then that's even cooler .

Actually the solo stages showed where each member lacks, their weakness were highlighted a lot that’s why I think together they work better Cause honestly with no hate intended, some can’t sing if their life depend on it, other can’t dance whatsoever and some lack stage presence Together they all add to each other and that’s why as a group their performance were really good

You know when you said jisoo could have sang better cause her choreography is easy well.. You don't know how hard they work between the interlude dance breaks they have to run and dress really fast and they are under the stage that's a very small amount of space so you can't really say those things

Jennie had a very little time to prepare for her solo because her solo was right after their group performance so that's why her hair were a bit messy, but I did not bother me actually I did not even realise it untill you mentioned. Jennie did great and her performance was my favourite one. But I personally think that she should have performed solo honestly because solo would have gave her more flexibility to hype the audience and stuff. But anyway My rankings 1) Jennie 2)Rosé (Gone performance specifically) 3)Lisa/Jisoo (I don't personally like Lisa's random shouting)

For me I honestly enjoyed watching the Coachella performance night thing I’m upset about with how do you say you didn’t add any new things to her performance I practically thought I was watching music bank but then I realize I was watching Coachella

I think all of them did their best... And everybody had fun... But there are some people who like like to focus on bad stuff only...says a lot about your own mentality

I went wknd2 and Lisa absolutely slayedddddddddddddddd her solo. Her dancing ability is crazyyyyyy good!!!! Watching the videos doesn't compare at all to seeing it up close live. Jennie was definitely distracted tho I think the heat was getting to her because it was crazy hot and all the lights and smoke probably made it 10x worse. She seemed to be sweating the most too. Jisoos solo was super cute and sweet, also the crowd screamed the loudest for her. Rosé was 100% giving vocals and THE MIC was ON!

I think ppl really don’t understand how hard it is to perform. Like you have to entertain the crowd, sing and also dance; when so many things are expected one of these features of the performance has to be compromised. You can’t sing the ENTIRE song and dance like Lisa at the same time, its not humanly possible, similarly you can’t dance amazingly and still slay vocals like rosè. One of those aspects of a performance always has to be undermined, especially with solo performances. I think Idols are so under-appreciated for their efforts. Have u ever seen an American artist dance at coachella? No, cause its just not humanly possible. That’s why BlackPink works so well as a group, because each member brings their talent in the respective aspects of their performance. Dance, vocals, visuals, stage presence and charisma.

I just want to hear Lisa actually singing that “dolla bills” part while just standing still, just that part, cuz I’m pretty sure she can’t and dancing has nothing to do with it. And the second lvl of difficulty would be to rap and sing the whole thing without backtrack and dancing. Guess what - she won’t be able to. She just can’t do that live in one piece without the backtrack and postproduction or sounding terrible in the process, so of course she had to compensate it by dancing or “performing” as you say.

@@MeryKeit u forget that being an idol means u have to ENTERTAIN. The industry SHOULD be about talent but its not, its about money, power and popularity. So, the more u entertain, whatever that may encompass, the more u sell. Yeah, maybe she cant sing, maybe she actually doesn’t have a good enough voice to sing without the backing track, but there’s a reason she’s a celebrity and not everyone with a ‘good’ voice isnt. She doesn’t have to be the best at singing as long as she can compensate with another talent aka dancing. She can still put on a show. If being a an idol ONLY revolved around vocals, there woudnt be many kpop groups or idols. So, yeah maybe she cant sing, but unfortunately talent has nothing to do with performance in the world we live in now.

Sorry I think Rosé eats Jenny in terms of stage presence. She was the one who interacted the most with the audience.

You can clearly here Jennie sings the whole time ! Ofc she helped herself with the background voice sometimes Lisa’s stage presence was insane but her singing was a bit off bc she prefers dancing 💃 Jisoo’s red dress and her new solo is soo good !! And Rosie’s vocal was great too bad she doesn’t hit the high notes at the end she was tired too But that’s understandable they perform during more than an hour and dance a lot
