Thank you, it turned out easier than I thought to fix, and it saves another car from the 'used bargain bin'!

Looks like you had an amazing day at Gaydon, I would love to go to a show like this ,i would buy a ton of older cars that I used to have many years ago 😀 love the little Corolla and the pure white Chevrolet. Enjoyed watching you doing fine detail work on the lathe 👍 ...Harry

Hi there over on the Isle. You got yourself a lot of nice Stuff from the Wintershow in Gaydon, Rob. Awesome Vettes you got, I love Vettes myself since I was a kid. We had a few running in my old home-town Bremerhaven, because we had a US Post in Bremerhaven and in Garlstedt, that is about 20 Kilometers away from Bremen. I got the chance to get a ride in a C3 in the 80`s when I was hitch hiking home from Garlstedt to Bremerhaven. Also a good friend of mine and his colleque had two C1`s. I was flashed ever since by Corvettes. Any way, the two Carrera Streamliners you got have a hint in the box, which means, the Aerodynamic Wheelcovers are removable. They are Exclusive models and Ortmann has some replacement PU`s for them. Your Models are from the Carrera Exclusive System and in the Ortmann List they are listed as Evolution/Digital Car Tires, at 1/32 scale. For the Mercedes W125 Avus 1937 it would be the Tire-No. 33w for the rear and the 33cv for the front. For the Auto Union Typ C Avus 1937 the same Tires work, as well. They will run on the Carrera Evolution Analog track at 14,8Volts and 2Amps on the secondary DC side of the power supply. I am looking forward for your projects and I hope I could help you to find replacement Tires for the Streamliners. The old ones should not be good anymore to run the cars.

Enjoyable day out, no snow problems, collected my pre orders from Pendle, then I let myself down, only spent £138 with other traders 😉🤣🤣🤣. Seemed plenty of folding was changing hands, soon be Swindon then Milton Keynes.

Not as many traders as I'd hoped, but I got what I wanted out of the day.

At 6:08 the body shell is almost certainly Scaleauto. Looks like a vac formed interior whereas Carrera make the interior very strong and heavy for some reason. The livery very similar to one of my Scaleauto 1/32 Vipers. So looks like you have the exact chassis designed for it. I also have the same Carrera Auto Union and Mercedes streamliners in both 1/24 and 1/32 scale. I made the same choices for a few other cars you have.

I'll be interested to see your mod on the DS controller 🙂 just out of interest why the 35? notice they do 25/35/45 any idea how much they vary and how much difference do you find they made on your club track? Thanks in advance, Dave.

Hi Dave, I chose the 35 as it has a little more punch than my parma 60. The Parma 60 can feel a little sluggish when my brain slows down, so the 35 should 'pep' it up a bit when my brain slows. Also the V3 DS controllers are a little softer than the old Parma's, so going from a Parma 60 to a DS 35 is almost the same.
