Did the job get done? Yes. Are you happy with the result? Yes. You used the right tools.
DIG IT! Great job, got a problem, solve it, looks great. Hope your old guy is warmer. The complaint sign is the best ✌🏻️😊
You know what Gandhi said to a reporter one time: My life is my message! And so it is with you and your project. Sadly, there aren't enough women with your sense of adventure and determination to do 'the unusual'. Keep going that way.

Thank you! I have the drawings at the beginning of this video and in my FB group Skooliegeeks. I am unable to load them here. Thank you for watching!!!
I love how that 2nd piece of wood completely hides the L-brackets. As for not having the right tools, sometimes you get unexpected results by improvising, which can give your project more character! :)

Masyn suggestion... You can spray foam the undercarriage of the bus.. you can get Foam it green and do it yourself or have a pro do it but it will help keep the floor warmer for your pup!!
@MasynMoyer
7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Currently I have 3 inches of closed cell foam Foam It in the walls and ceilings. I also have two inches of hard board insulation on the floor. I opted out of the undercarriage insulation for a multitude of reasons. Problem is, he is old and runs cold. That's all. Creating this opening also allows a/c to flow better and general air circulation. But I appreciate the suggestions!

You did good! If it works for you, then I like it too. After all it's you gonna use it & it's your home. Wanted to tell you a good idea, but may not work for you, it's up to you. If you drill a hole in your shelf the size of your class/cup (slanted: small bottom, larger top drink holder) then you can sit your drink container in the hole, your drink won't tip over.

LOL I know right!?!?! It was irritating me too! I am not smart at this stuff but I bought a microphone that I will start using but I have one more video in the can before then. Thank you for all the compliments and other stuff!
Love the way you see something and then go for it. Now, I am confused. What did the little window have to do with you old dog? Did this tie together? Have you thought about putting a bunch of blankets down to cover your puppers so he doesn't get cold?
@MasynMoyer

The window helps with regulating hot/cold air throughout the bus. Hammond has one of the best beds ever, blankets AND an electric blanket. He is well cared for. ;)

Masyn Moyer lol , yea that's why I asked the prince question , I'm 46 so I would of been to young for the 1999 , and dirty mind , but if I could time travel I'd pop into the dirty mind show. I seen a video after I commented on your video and seen you on the Colorado van builders video, just sayin. I look forward to more videos .
I love your style Masyn! Do you live in your bus full time and if so are you concerned about security? Do you have a permanent location to park it?
@MasynMoyer
7 жыл бұрын
Thank you Nanine... I talk about that in another video but right now I am half time. By April 1st, I will be FT. I am not worried about security. I believe that if someone wants to try to get at you any where any time, they can. That said, I have my conceal and carry, I have bear spray and I have two dogs that warn me of approaching issues. All that said... I have been doing this for so long and mainly on my motorcycle, that I find a vast majority of people are beyond kind and helpful. Our country is good - truly. On top of that, men in particular are super helpful and supportive of woman on the road. There is always someone to help. I do not have a permanent place to park. But that is why I wanted wheels on my house. I am a true gypsy. lol ;)

Oh, are you talking about for more warmth? If so, I have 3 inches of spray foam insulation in the walls, hard board, 1 inch plywood and then pine flooring... it is well insulated. Without heat on, the air can still get cold thus he gets cold. He has no fur and is old.
What about the older dog? I was thinking, you were going to make a step stool for him to climb in bed. You lost me.
@MasynMoyer

Hammond doesn't like to sleep with anyone. He prefers to be spread out and covered in a blanket. When he does like to snuggle, he meets me on the sofa or steps on the seat and then up to the bed. ;)
Id love to get stuck!
Nice mod. Just a FYI Masyn there's a mod to switch your bus windows so they lift up from the bottom like a conventional house window and you can then put screens in them here's the link. kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6GI1peeZNPYqKQ.html

BRILLIANT! I love it! I have to do some thinking on this because my kitchen is built up so it might not work for those windows but maybe in the bedroom or living area. Either way, I truly appreciate you sharing this! Hopefully other converters see it too!
