I really dig the reclaimed wood look and use in the camper! But I think my favorite part is all the pillows and how comfy the seating area and bedroom look! There can never be too many pillows, blankets, and cushions! Plus the ledge and window between the bedroom and living area is such a great idea!

Thank you! I am a MN girl that loves to snuggle in so yes, pillows and blankets need to make you feel warm and comfortable. I put the window in as an after thought. I did a whole video on it which will be up next week!

What an amazing compliment to see this morning. Thank you. I am filming another today and will hopefully have up by the weekend. It is about this topic specifically. It's not easy and emotions comes in waves but I lean into my bus community friends that are already doing it and trust that it is the right thing to do. My motto: What's the worst that could happen?

You are amazing!!! I am so glad I stumbled across your channel! I just bought a bus about a month ago and am in the process of converting it for full-time on the road living. I am a single woman as well and am changing things up to find freedom and pursue my dream of being a writer. I can't wait to hit the road! Your bus is beautiful. Excellent job! It's inspiring to find someone like myself who is a few miles ahead of me. Lets me know it's doable and that I'm on the right track. "I have to trust that the universe will serve me if I follow my path." Exactly!

Mason... I'm so excited to have found your new channel. I'm a grandma aged lady that so wants this life style as well. I grew up and have spent my adult life in Iowa but I'm so done with Midwestern winter's. I know you mentioned "burning the ships", but...many of us I'll bet would love a DIY on doing our hair like your. I would so love to learn how to do this, just a thought. I follow several van dwellers and bus so I'm wondering if you follow other you tubers doing this or if you have just struck out on your own? take care I'll be watching...hugs from Iowa, deb

I'm not just a grandma aged lady... I am a grandma!!! Yay! I am from MN and agree, the winters are tough!! Thus the reason I am in Colorado with four seasons and all. The problem here now, is EVERYONE is moving here! So I need to be more mobile. Yes, I follow a lot of other Tubers but it seems there aren't too many out there that are style or that are single... so maybe I have something different enough for people to follow. I'm glad you are watching!!! Thank you Deb

Having lived my early years not too far from Lake Wobegon, you have to believe I'm excited to encounter another Minnesotan. Love the bit about heading out to do chores early in the morning, though I grew up near Minneapolis and it was my cousins, not me, who were milking cows and shoveling manure. Speaking of manure, I hope you're able to get your shit together and keep this dream alive. I'd have to live vicariously through you but nothing wrong with that. I'll stay in touch with a subscription... but you need to do the heavy lifting. Good luck Masyn.

Just remember that the if the Muse does exist__she does not call upon the weak and untalented she only seeks passion and pain that makes us uncomfortable and pulls us kicking and screaming to the top of the mountain to soar above the rest only to deliver us our dreams in a hard fought battle that gives us the only true taste of success and peace. And, from this, we hopefully step out from this success into the next crazy wild dream to start again. I found you channel while searching thru schoolie videos. I too hope to step out on my own adventure in a schoolie or class b RV within the next year or so! Here's wishing you the best and much success. on your future business venture. P.S. love that you have taken you fur babies along for the adventure too! Later K.

Except for the age difference, you and I have some things in common sister! I too had a salon for 12 years, I used to ride, and I am going to live in a home on wheels. Oh, and I am a huge animal lover as well. 1st question- With the woodwork, how much weight did it add to the bus and what's your mileage like? 2nd-How are you heating and cooling? 3rd-Showering? 4th-Are you still riding and are you taking your bike with you? I sub'd today and am gonna catch up with your videos. I really dig your sense of humor and am hoping to find out what you are planning in some of these next videos, since I've got some catching up to do!

I can't wait to meet up with you! Are you in our FB group ? If not, I am including the link. Great place to start or on IG with the same name. facebook.com/groups/751244011705361/ 1) I didn't pre weight my bus but I am just under 12,000 pounds now. The mileage averages around 10-13 depending on speed, incline and whether or not I am towing. 2) Heat is propane although I rarely use it because I am soooo well insulated. As far as cooling... I primarily use fans but have an AC unit to if I have land power and am located somewhere for awhile. 3) Showering is primarily at camps 4) Yes, I still ride and yes, my bike goes with! Thank you for watching!!

I just saw a bus tour of your bus on another KZread channel. I had this overwhelming desire to check out your channel, so I did. You said to comment and not to be mean, so I will and I won't. But seriously, anyone who could even find something to be mean about from the content of this video would just be a simple troll because I find your content to be inspiring. You took a big leap and said people must think you're crazy. I just don't see it. Don't worry about what people think. Worry about you and what makes you happy. I have no doubt that you will be successful in anything you do. You have a confidence and a personality that could make the universe your playground. Never forget how lucky you are to be able to take a leap of faith like this one. I would give anything to build out a bus for myself and live in it, travel and have all kinds of adventures and meet new people, just like you will, but fate and my health had other things planned for me. I really look forward to following your channel and seeing your adventures. Best to you and be safe out there. Most importantly be happy and make sure you do one thing everyday that makes you smile.

Great question! There are pluses and minuses to having pets on the road. Its great to have the companionship but it can be a good deal of work too. I have to stop every couple hours to make sure they stretch their legs and pee even if I am trying to get somewhere quick. My young one really misses playing with pups at dog parks - which I try to find but there aren't many and he can't be off leash so exercise is not optimal otherwise. I am teaching him to run along side of my bike soon. They may get wet and smelly in a small spaces. I have to make sure I have plenty of water available. But mainly it's about hot and cold temps... I am fortunate, I have amazing insulation which regulates the temps pretty well but leaving them while I ride my moto around is nerve wracking at times not knowing how they are. As far as care... I haven't had any issues on the road yet. I have seen our regular vet back in Boulder but I know many people belong to Pet Co's vet company because you can go anywhere in the country. However I know nothing about this. Thank you for the question and I hope that helps!!

Good info. I have traveled with my yellow Lab from Virginia to Arkansas a few times in a mini-van and had to stop too. I now have a Great Pyrenees' too. So now I have to upgrade or up-size my vehicle. A bus seems like a good solution. Do you have little fans through out your bus to keep the air circulating?

Thank you for watching Dee and I will let the kids know you complimented them. ;) I have tried Cold brew and I love it in the summer. I don't have a wood stove. I have propane heat at the moment. I did not have space for a stove or to carry the wood but several of my friends do and they rock!

Hi there! Think I’m late to the party...just found your channel. Looks like you’ve only made one video recently and it’s private. Just wanted to send an encouraging word to see if you’d do more videos. Everything about you seems like the complete opposite of me, and I enjoy watching for that reason. Well, not everything about you-just the part where you are incredibly brave and free spirited and following your dreams. And the part where you’re exceptionally cool. Living outside the box that I seek my safety in. Anyway...good for you! I hope you’re still enjoying!!

That said, its people like you that motivate me to get my sh*t together! Thank you!!! You are appreciated.

Hi Masyn, I just started following you, so I apologise if you cover this in a later video and I haven't got there yet.. but, How long is your bus, and what are the dimensions (roughly) of the interior? Also, I'm in Ontario Canada (seems we living in similar climates); do you find the original bus windows effect the efficacy of heat retention in the winter? :) I am going to school for sustainable building design and construction this year and it's a few hours away from my current house. I plan on first living in my bus first while I'm at school (with my Mastiff, Bruce), and then ideally, we will travel to British Columbia and hang out there for a while. Great videos!! You're f'in rad, girl!! Can't wait to see the rest! :) Erin

+broomballer1 most of it was done either in my back yard, driveway or at the cabinet makers shop in Thornton. It's fairly easy moving my shortie around. I had a full length before and that wasn't so easy.
