I subscribed now, count me inn guy, nice little setup I like the build mannn you inspired me to also follow up with your goals pandemic or no pandemic gotta keep moving forward. I’m from Florida what track are you going? And what type of class are you going to be, not beginners I’m sure cus lots of things were removed from your Honda Civic. But if you can make a video in detail explaining the rules from the class mode you are gonna be competing will help guy. I’m trying to gutter out my eg civic too.. I might do it lol 😂

I don't know how, but I must have overlooked the comment and forgot to reply! I'm located in Chicago, so the closest tracks to me are Autobahn, Blackhawk Farms, Gingerman, and Road America. I usually travel to Florida for work and frequent PBIR and Homestead. So far the car is just a trainer car and I'm not particularly using it for a specific class nor am I competing with it. We'll see what happens though! Thanks for watching!

I like to bypass the clutch safety switch. This way if the car dies on the track, I can use the starter motor to get off the track and to a safe spot.

Finally a civic made for the track. I see them only for track and corners is where it shines. Straight line racing just gets boring imo.

I didn’t have money for a long time, but I just kept grinding away on my career and was finally able to financially support a build like this! It will come for you, just keep working hard and be patient!

Great stuff! Where can I get one of those coolant funnels? I got my first EG9 recently and I am loving it. Had a similar issue where when cranking the car I would lose all power and it also turned out to be a slightly loose battery ground terminal.

Thanks! You can go to any parts store. The brand they’ll usually carry is Lisle.

Crazy had the same problem with my b20 in a da9 brand new motor but it didn’t crank but jump for the starter it works ... still looking for the problem now

Find out the problem it’s the clutch pedal stopper by the clutch on the buttom but the second sensor on top

So am just starting a k24eg just now so excellent job guys timing on point lol

I'm looking to buy a Honda this winter for track days. I live in Milwaukee. Next season will be at the Milwaukee Mile, Blackhawk, and road America. Any resources you would recommend? So far my resources have been Honda tech and KZread. Local resources would be awesome !

Hello, fellow Wisconsinite! KZread is a pretty great resource, but I’d recommend finding folks on Instagram and using that DM feature! You’d be surprised at how many people are willing to help. As always, you can always DM me on Instagram as well! That’s great to hear you want to start tracking! Be careful with wanting to do “too much” to the car, because it could just end up on jack stands for years lol. Keep it simple. Just drive it! Driver mod is the most important part.

At this time it was just some extra Toyota/Lexus coolant my buddy gave me. I'm waiting for my new engine, but when it gets installed I'll be using straight water with some additives.

Anything ‘96 or newer should have one. It should be in the driver footwell area under the dash.

Why does it say V8 5.0 on the back of your civic? Previous engine swap?

Haha no. I just found the emblem in a old toolbox I bought and threw it on. Just being stupid, it’s not actually on the car now.

My bronze rays are 15x8 +35. Then I use an 8mm spacer also. My RPF1’s are 15x8 +28 with no spacer.

😆Yeah, it is... I had recently bought a used toolbox during that time and I found those badges inside so I stuck it on the car just for giggles lol
