This is the coolest video. The owner was the coolest guy and very very humble. Absolutely love how he represented the Honda community and how he handled and executed this build. Hope the best for him!

This guy does not remotely expletive around and is the most wholesome and genuinely nice guy to talk to. Awesome build and coverage.

Such a nice guy too, looking forward to seeing it on track, was amazing in person at PRI

Finally, a high powered Civic that could race on tracks!! Usually, with this kind of HP especially in a Civic, they drag race it and yeah it's cool and all coz it's fast and it needs to maintain the car straight while running it as fast as possible but it's getting too common you know, and seeing a car that is built to be driven the way it should be which is to use its lightweight advantage at tackling the corners is pretty rare especially going to a high HP setup like this. Idk, maybe it's just me or what, I think I'm just getting tired a bit of seeing a typical high powered 0-60 drag race stuffs on social medias and hating on cars just because it couldn't do a fast acceleration, bad reputation due to those so-called "Ricers" and picking up girls or clouts like it's really cringe. Anyways, that's a dream track build there.

You can tell this guy is genius.....mad props great build!🙏💸👍

The RT-AWD is only capable of sending 40% of torque to the rear which would mean it's just FWD with more understeer. It's great for putting power down on a drag strip, not so great for when you're trying to turn. SH-AWD is an entirely different beast though.

If you are going to awd and add more weight and the extend of this build, why not do a mid-engine rwd for power and balance? That's the best for both world for road racing.

@@Clean_Duners That's not really all that much for a B16A. I've got 10,040 RPM data logs from my old EG6 and that was nothing more than a stock bottom end B16A with ITBs and 305 duration TODA VTEC Killer cams. Ran that engine hard for a year before it got torn down due to having to move.

@@rocket_eg6129 Yeah, the VTEC B series engines were a whole lotta fun. They don't do much more than make a whole lot of noise in N/A form, but they'll rev beyond where the numbers on the tachometer end and take any abuse you throw at them for years and years. With that said, the B18C is coming out of my ITR. Would much rather have a stock K20. Better gas mileage, makes more power in stock form than a built N/A B18C, and still will take decades of abuse.

It’s a B series given that it’s a DOHC engine, the D-Series is a SOHC unit. I’d say that it’s a bored b16 that displaces 1.7 litres. It’s possible that he dropped in an OEM B17 only found in a “DA” Integra GS-R but I doubt it.

Why doubt? All those high end parts and 11k rpm . Definitely capable of 900 . Would suggest a little bigger turbo for that number though for efficiencies sake.
