Definitely the best hatch ever made imo, it’s such a beautiful design and the chassis itself has infinite potential which in my opinion makes it the perfect car

Love this build. Yust picked up my «new» Honda Civic VTi (SiR) 1992 last week. Will do a similar build as this only more OE exterior and more race focused. Love the vtec sound. 😊

A 16x7 forged wheel that weighs 16lbs is not a great selling point, it should be 13lbs at most. A Volk te37 sonic in the same spec is 11.9lbs

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Yes, the I-Beam spokes give the wheel a lot of strength, but that's a little porky for 16x7 For reference my 18x8 I-Beam Flowformed Braids are 18.9lbs each and are also strong enough and homologated for Group A rally. Perhaps he misspoke and they are actually lighter 🤷‍♂️

Their wheels are stupid expensive too, about $2k for a set. Definitely not "forged for all" in my opinion

Strange why use 16x7 size? 16" size wheel you are very limited on tire size and brand too. For the EG Civic, I forgot someone did a test showing that 15x8 was the best all around size for that car and much more tire choice too. I myself on my endurance racing EG Civic is on 15x9 with 225/45/15.

Best eg interior I have seen. This car is perfect only thing i would add is foglights

I think the term Larry was looking for at the end, was "sorted". It's a very well sorted and attainable build. Super sweet ride that obviously gets some love. Very cool!

5' prints.....wow ! ........and shot , in Larry's Garage ! I know you want a micro clean garage look. But you need , a wall of posters, a contrast wall. Even if you have to many , make them smaller 8x11" and fill a contrast wall with them!!!

Ngl, this build also kinda gives me a Kanjozoku vibes but with a mix of a time attack spec which I absolutely love it!!! Well done to the owner of this one!!! Oh and btw, I am also curious about his work on the backseat without making it a fully gutted race car. is it fast? that's a little heavy. My '92 street hatch no cuts, 2030lbs without driver. All motor b series, 12.7 @ 108mph.

Finally an EG6 that's not a drag car, It reminds me a lot like those group A race cars, from the 90's I saw an old Best motoring video from 1992, they were racing dozens of Civic EG6 race cars like this one. BTW Great video

90's Honda's need 90's engines. I get why people K swap, They're a lot easier to get hold of and the swap kits are everywhere but you've got to at least try to build it period correct when you can.

Nice car,nice build but seems mad to me that he’ll do all that work and spend all that money on lightness But he won’t put that burger down and munch a salad instead. It’s the free weight savings that everybody overlooks.

Eg carbon hoods don’t save you much weight

In the past 14 Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenges, 12 of the winners were Chevys... Camaros and Corvettes... The judges are basic af, and it breaks my heart.
