"that robotic voice is out of place". No mam it's part of their story. They are half clones here. Some members are real and some are clones. So the robotic voices you hear is from clones. Tempo is musically best song for me . When it came out, many other companies contacted the producer of this song to make a song like tempo for their groups too but the producer said that only EXO can pull this of and no any other group can sound like them. No wonder they get called Vocal Kings of kpop.

The guy whose voice you like is Chanyeol. Heʼs the main rapper but he actually sings so well. He can play multiple instruments too. The deep voice in 9:36 is Sehunʼs whoʼs also a rapper. You should check out 1 Billion Views and What A Life by EXO-SC (Sehun and Chanyeol), theyʼre both rappers but you can hear their singing in those and they also took part in writing and producing the whole album.

Landyra waaaah you can also check out their solo songs too from the new album 1 billion views, “Nothin” by Chanyeol and “On Me” by Sehun. I totally recommend listening to the whole album it gives you different types of genres in one album and they also worked and produced it on their own you must check it out 🤗

Yes D.O acts as well. He’s using his real name in dramas. Do Kyung Soo. He’s one of those few idols (like IU) who can act and sing so well.

I super appreciate all the honest opinion. I'm 29 and i totally get that not everyone is gonna love everything exo does especially for a new listener. Exo really does some experimental sounds with their music and not everyone will love everything. As long as it's respectful it's fine so pls don't feel like you have to love everything exo does. @@Landyra Girl, don't worry! Im an 100% exo fan yet not really a fan of "Tempo". Even being a fan doesn't mean i like everything they do. It's just a matter of taste right. You still have hundreds of exo songs to be explored tho. Not to mention their solos, sub units, OSTs & covers. Just dont ever sleep on their talents. They are really the pioneer of 3rd generation of kpop. Since you like "love shoot", i think you would love "ko ko bop" as well. Those have kinda same vibe, kinda chill reggae type of song. Just has a different feeling. "Love shoot" is sexy & seductive yet "ko ko bop" is more swag in it. Oh, about the one that familiar to you is D.O. He's an actor, actually they all are but D.O is the most awarded idol actor & yes he plays in so many k-dramas and k-movies.

They sang it live. First group I've ever watched (singing in acapella)...when I became a kpop fan.

The guy you said you love his voice for so many times in "Tempo" and "Love shot" is Chanyeol, who recently released an album with Sehun (another main rapper in EXO), and he has a solo song in that album called "Nothin". 10:57 that is Beakhyun, released a solo mini album called "Candy"last month and he sounds angle too. "Tempo" is the only one of their most successful title tracks that I don't love, but its live performances are insane, look like a short musical to me, and they keep the a cappella part. Kai might be the only man in the world who can fit in a crop top so nicely, in my opinion.

Well a lot of people don't find men attractive with crop top bcus let's be honest here, it's more about common gender stereotype in society. There are very few occasions where men can wear crop top without getting judged so it's understandable that people find it weird. But yeah Kai wore it so nicely. He even wore multiple different crop tops during this era & every single one matches his body & charisma well. He even got praised by knetz, ifans & trended the whole thing that made other male idols tried cropt top too after that, which is impressive.

The robotic voice must be added because in this MV, the EXO story goes as a conspiracy weather some of the members are not real EXO (clones) which you'll see the story in Obsession MV. As i said on your previous reaction video, EXO MVs has connection to each other. You gotta learn their concept and watch their MV by its order of released. You don't have to though. ps. They don't do robotic voice on live performance, even though there's effect that will mess with their original voice on live.

14:00 that was D.O he is an actor too. You probably saw him in 100 days my prince drama.

Hey there! I'm glad you decided to react to more EXO. Also, please feel free to speak freely. You don't need to like every single song. We all have our own preferences. One good think about EXO, in my opinion, is that they experiment with a lot of styles and different genres of music (as the grupo exo it self, but also the sun units, the members that released their solos... everything is very different from each other which makes me excited). I understand your channel is not a Kpop focused one. I guess people feel excited to have someone listening for the firth time to their favorite group and the amount of requests might be overwhelming but don't feel pressured to do reactions to every single on of them. Also I got really excited when you recognized D.O. (Doh Kyungsoo). He's an actor and has gained a lot of attention for his acting skills. He's the lead actor in the historical drama 100 days my prince and the movie Swing Kids (I'm not sure but I think these are the last releases before he enlisted in the military). Good to see it's actually reaching people 🙏🏻✨ I'm really excited for all the requests in the comments and so many new subscribers joining, but I'm also a bit worried about people being disappointed when I post videos about something else every now and then, so I wanted to make sure to mention it - now that I knew from the last video that a lot more people than just the subscribers who already know me might see the video! The acapella is in the studio version. It is EXO after all. The member who looks familiar is Do Kyungsoo, aka D.O. He is as good an actor as he is an idol. He’s been in a number dramas and movies, including as the lead, and has won multiple prestigious acting awards. The one whose vocals and looks you like is Baekhyun. Check out the single UN Village from his first studio album. His more recent one is Candy, but based on your reactions I’m not sure it will be to your taste. btw, the album Candy is from, Delight, just sold more than a million copies, 700K+ on the first day. He’s also in the subunit EXO-CBX and a member of the group SuperM along with Kai. And he’s hysterically funny.

EXO has vocals so ofc they gonna show it off 💀 they have albums for live vocals in concerts which are better than the studio version. SM likes acapellas since TVXQ was originally a acapella group before they scraped it but since TVXQ has great vocals you can still hear them going off. Basically if you're an SM artist expect yourself to do wild vocal ranges.

Thank you for the lovely comment and suggestions 💕 Also extra thanks for liking my editing - it's the most time consuming part of making a video and most people don't notice it much 🥺 Definitely planning on doing the guide once I know a couple more of their songs, and I'd LOVE to check out some funny exo compilations once I know them a bit better, I love watching those with BTS 😂

If there's one thing I feel the need to mention, it's that you can be completely honest with your reactions to EXO and you won't get much if any hate. EXOLs as a whole are a much more mature and dare I say it, less problematic, fandom than all the other stans. I feel like EXO is so established and confident in their fans that they let themselves explore and experiment with their music and you can tell the effort that goes into all of their songs, especially the b sides which is something lots of other artists ignore. Just looking at MAMA, their debut, it doesn't sound like a typical debut. They really just go for diverse and challenging sounds and make it work. I especially recommend listening to their live videos (in Japan because camera quality is best there) and also listening to some of their earlier songs to see the progress of their stories in the MV. One more thing, please check out Chen and Baekhyun's duet on Immortal song 2: "really I didn't know". These two main vocalists came and improved so much over the years but I love their styles even at the very beginning. Love the reactions and will definitely sub to see more of this content!

I agree with you. Their songs are so experimental means every comeback you will get something new. Their songs when they releases , it sounds out of place according to trends but quickly becomes trend. They create their own trend. I am really lucky to be their fan.

The acapella part was part of the song.. they include it on the MV as well on their live performances ... tempo is very unique song it has diff layers on it.. i think this kind of song is so marketed for musician since it brings diff layer. But again we have diff kinds of music taste .. but im loving tempo basically tempo is one of my fave exo song... And also maybe you saw already d.o since he is an actor ... he is one of the best actor now in korea ... he received a lot of awards of being an actor ... maybe you watch his movies or drama thats why you think that u saw him somewhere

Yes, that was like my first realization when listening to this song - it's got a hell lot of layers. Like, you could probably spend hours exploring and dissecting it! It didn't completely hit my music taste, but it was definitely an EXPERIENCE of a song and is really catchy in it's own way! 🎶

this song was very experimental and out there for a kpop song, especially with the accapela section. it became insanely popular and the producer was asked to make these kinds of songs for other groups by other companies, but he refused, saying this song was made specifically for exo and only they can pull that off, especially live, and hes not interested in trying it for other groups. theres an interview with him about it somewhere on youtube. basically, exo vocal kings :)

This song is totally a *GROWER* when I say grower, I mean it will grow a lot! At first listen, we have the same reaction but after some time, I can't stop singing the chorus! Jeje A funny thing is that I'm q Exo-L but before I was a fan of bts, I started listening to them when they had the NO comeback and I really like them but I don't consider myself an Army. You should check out their song Sweet Lies (live). They all really sound and look so good. The genre and vibe of the song is a bit different from Tempo, Love Shot and Monster. And you’ll hear a bit of everything like high notes in full voice, sexy deep voice, some falsetto, some easy sexy rappin, and you’ll appreciate a little bit of harmonization,

You should checkout the vid called EXOs Best Live Vocals 2020. For me some of EXOs best songs are songs you might never hear unless you watch them live, or listen to the albums.

LITERALLY NO ONE can resist EXO's charm in that every single member is all classy, elegant, well-mannered, respectful and humble. Truly EXO deserves the title "Nation's pick" and "the Kings of Kpop". IM SO PROUD OF EXO.

Yes, they are doing that acapella in music video, studio version, and live performances. About their highnotes? They can do higher notes than what you've just heard in this mv. Their live vocals is 1000000x better than music videos.

So the guy who's voice you keep liking is Chanyeol (he has light purple hair and black curly hair in this MV...only one with 2 different hair colors and styles...). He is EXO's main rapper, multi-talented instrumentalist (plays guitar, acoustic and electric, piano, drums, and possibly a few others, he can DJ) ,he has a music production studio as well as a studio for the production of music videos, he is a prolific songwriter, is super athletic and competitive, very smart, tallest member in EXO, super emotional, and known as the Happy Virus cause he smiles constantly. The deep voice you like at 9:37 is Sehun. He is EXO's other rapper, as well as the maknae of the group (he was the red head that did the first rap verse). His voice was unmodified at that part. Sehun and Chanyeol actually have a sub-unit called EXO-SC, and they just dropped their first full album, 1 Billion Views. Sorry, that got really long...

I am a new fan of EXO just recently and it was through an unusual way. Due to quarantine I gave KPOP a try and since I follow Western music sites, BP & BTS were always featured. Decided to check out BTS first but for some reason I didn't find their songs catchy enough though I enjoyed DNA & Fake Love. I tried BP & they kind of stuck, my vibe, as I found myself adding some of their songs in my Playlist. I got into BP more and one of the things that kept being mentioned in the comments of their MVs was Jennie's ex, Kai. So I decided to search on YT who that guy was and YT top recommendation was EXO Love Shot Melon Awards with Kai on the thumbnail with a provocative look (lol). At that time I did not know it was him though so I watched and listened through the entire video while reading the comments. I was distracted by that one voice though, which, though singing in Korean, sounded Western RnB. I said that because I listened to BTS and their vocal texture is not the ones I am used to, as I listen to Western music. I had to rewind to check out who that was. He had another part, "People come and people go" and that got me interested in EXO, because of that voice, checking out their other vids and he really has that distinct vocal texture. I found out eventually he was the lead actor to a kDrama I watched just last year, which turned out to be the 9th highest rated drama in Korean tv history (as I type this). It is D.O or Doh Kyungsoo (he uses his real name for his acting career). I say, like you, I don't really like Tempo that much, it has this vibe that I can't relate to that much but I appreciate the fact that their vocals are showcased beautifully. I am not expecting you to become EXO-L, but I am thankful that you like Chanyeol a lot which makes me think you'd still dig EXO through him. So that's still something to be grateful for. I say, you're probably like me, I jam to EXO through D.O. Just keep providing your honest opinions, good or bad. You've come this far since you started your channel and there are really those kinds of people that wouldn't agree to you. To each his own. Cheers!
