I saw that using Apple cider and vinegar rinse will help wash out the crap off your locks, without damaging your locks or your hair. The colors pop more too after your rinse. Also using Lemon in the mix also helps too. Love your accent and your locks. You look like a viking warrior.

Hi, I love your videos! Could you possibily tell me if the Dollylocks tightening gel is also used for wool dreadlocks?

Thank you! The tightening gel is developed for especially for real dreads, so I don't think it is a good idea to use it on wool dreads. If your wool dreads tend to come apart a bit, it is best to roll them again with an olive soap-water mixture, to tighten them again.

I love all your videos and I am excited to get real dreads once my hair is long enough. When will your medium dreads be available to buy online?

Hi Rose, Thanks!! Our Medium Dreads will be available mid 2017 in our USA warehouse. The production takes quite some time, sorry for the waiting... Too cool you want real dreads :)

What if you don't want to use the crochet hook? What other thing can you do?

If you don't want to use a crochet hook you can try to keep the loose hairs in check by using a tightening spray or other products you can find on our website. You can also loop you dread through the re-growth, the downside of this method is that you get hard knots in your dreads and it can look a little bumpy, instead of having a smooth dread.

Love love love your dreads but you really shouldn’t use gel or wax or product on them. It will build up over time
