  • @dreadshop

    Oh no! Are they installed by a professional? Are you using a refreshening or conditioning spray? That can really help to take down the itch.

  • @laurasplantcorner7058
    @laurasplantcorner70583 ай бұрын

    @@dreadshop no not professionally installed as I couldn't afford it but, we looked uo videos for 3 or 4 months straight and braided them in. I love them though. Today is day 3 and the itch is slightly better. I've got a few different softening sprays but haven't found one I really like yet 😂

  • @dreadshop

    @@laurasplantcorner7058 I see, as long as they're not installed too tight because that can cause huge itch and irritation. As for a spray, my personal favorite is the Dollylocks refreshening spray, this one always takes down my itch :) And they smell amazing :) Enjoy your dreads!

    Hi Team, I have my dreadlocks (partial ones) since a few weeks and I have extensions with open ends. very thin ones. now they start to create damaged split ends - what can I do with them? thank you <3

  • @dreadshop
    @dreadshop3 ай бұрын

    Awesome that you've got partial dreadlocks! To take good care of the ends of your locks you can use a conditioner oil on them. We advise dollylocks or RAW ROOTs oils. Another tip is to sleep on a satin pillowcase, all available at dreadshop.com Enjoy your dreadies!!

    I recommend to use dollylocks or RAW ROOTs products for your dreads, those leave no residue.

    Ah, that's a disappointment! Do you have some dreads left? Maybe you can take some dreads out, resection and rebraid those with some extra dreads? We do offer an online course in which we guide you to install your own dreads: www.dreadshopacademy.com/how-to-install-your-own-synthetic-dreads

    I had dreads done years ago. End of 6 weeks I was very pleased to take them out & feel my own hair. I said after I undid them, never again. Now I’m toying with having them done again. Heheh! Question for you all: how long is your own hair before you placed all these extensions ?

  • @dreadshop
    @dreadshop6 ай бұрын

    Haha, I can completely understand! They're so much fun to wear! Your hair needs to be at least 8 cm / 3 inch to wear these extensions. Our own hair is a bit longer, around shoulder length.

    hello, i am a guy with short hair, i wanted to try growing my hair out for dreads but im just too impatient, could I get synthetic dreads or would they just slip out? im not an expert at all but i assume you would use a crochet hook to install synthetic dreads so i would then also assume that they wouldnt slip out? I can't find any answers on google so im hoping you can help me out. One Love ❤, Jah Bless💚💛❤

    Synthetic Dreads are a great solution to let your hair grow! You can braid them in and they're endlessly reusable (the ones that we sell). If you wanna get real dreads (from your own hair) they can be extended with either human hair or synthetic locks. I would advise you to see a professional dreadlock stylist for this. The ones that we have educated are listed on dreadshopacademy.com

    I'm new at Dreadlocking...😅 Those are DE or SE you use ? I love the looks on your store, but I'm not sure what to buy... My locks are loose (brushes) at the end and about long as the result you show. But I would love to add some color and a bit of volume...

    If you already have locs and want to add some color and volume, the SE Locks of Love are the perfect solution! You can either choose a loose bundle or a decorated Accent Set. I use the Bum Length Locks of Love in this video. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out: [email protected]
