    Regarding the heater, we have the same one that we used when tent camping and have an EHU but I changed to the Outdoor Revolution heater which has several advantages in my opinion, it will oscillate if one chooses and and has a fan with a no heat function, handy for some air flow when it’s warm. Fall over protection is more advanced as the fan runs with no heat to cool the heater for about 30 seconds before it shuts off. Plus a thermostat.

    The duvalay is a must I'd say & worth every penny, we camped for many years in a small frame tent & sometimes an adapted dome tent we loved both of them & used an air bed - how I wish there'd been a duvalay back then. Lighting makes a huge difference to how you feel & the fairy lights are great. The bin is brilliant! Due to hubby's health camping of any sort is out of the question now & I miss it terribly so your videos help me enjoy the outdoors & camping again, thank you so much for that.

    Great Vlog. We have campervan and use our thermal wrap all year round on our pop top. As our ten year old boys sleep up there it makes it so much less tent like. However one of the best things is that it stops the light on sunny mornings so they don't think it's time to wake up at 04:30. 😍😎👬

    All excellent choices ! 👌 Really like the bin, but we'd have to rethink our storage, as that cupboard is full with the coffee pod machine, toaster etc. One of my best buys is a waterproof loo roll cover ! 😄 We don't usually set up our toilet tent, but twice, the campsite where we wanted to stay, had to close the toilets due to a broken pump. The toilet tent was great, except that even in good weather, the toilet roll became soggy with condensation. Second trip, enter the waterproof holder, which kept the roll nice and dry 👍 Great video as always thanks, hope Winston is better x

    Just watched your latest vlog which was very informative! We also use Ansio dehumidifiers in our van during the summer and have been impressed by how much moisture they remove! Currently our Constellation 3XL is on EHU on the drive. To combat excessive moisture and damp we are running a dehumidifier. The amount of moisture it removes, particularly during spells of heavy rain, is incredible. We also have a small oil filled radiator running to keep the van at around 5C. So far we have no sign of damp or any mildew. Hope Winston is well? Keep safe. Krs Sid and Nicola, Rugby

    Not bought much specifically for our GoPod but did buy a Tray which is very useful to stop water getting onto cooker etc when washing up in small sink. Use it to eat off as well obviously. A small camping kettle & a small toaster both from morrisons are great when plugged up and last probably is a tiny electric dehumidifier from argos which runs from coolbox feed in cupboard below. Coolbox now has a 13a uk plug and a 4way runs off original socket in wardrobe

    Great video Roseanna! We found the section about the Falcon Wi-Fi booster particularly interesting. R.e. the potential of struggling with signal on certain campsites - a few Go-Pod owners have purchased generic 5G routers online and carry a few pay as you go data only SIM cards for different networks with them. Especially in more rural areas of the country, some networks seem to have a bit of a monopoly on the mobile masts (particularly O2) and being able to switch to the best available network is quite helpful.

    Hello. I went for the thicker Duvalay - "Comfort 4.5 Tog Sleeping Bag with 4cm Topper" They do a thinner "compact" sleeping back which is a 2.5cm topper, but I think that is mainly for those that have less storage space and need to roll it up into a more compact package. Great tip about duplicated items. I haven't managed that yet! I'm still moving things from my caravan to my house every time I come home, and then back again for every adventure 😅 Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Lovely video. All useful accessories I think. Some of them didn't surprise me but there were a few I didn't think of. For example, the hanging hooks for your smalls....clever, although a couple pairs of MY boxers drying in a Go Pod and there'd be no room left! 😅. Also the diddy utensils. Was hilarious when you displayed a 'standard' spatula. Could tell you found that one funny too. I have one slightly off topic Q. Do you know what your vans maximum braked towing capacity is? Cheers🙂

    Hi Roz. Loving your videos. :) I'd just like to ask - how does your wi-fi booster work unless you also have your own internet connection? Does the booster connect to the campsite's wi-fi or do you have a dongle, or something?

  • @Roz.S

    @Roz.S

    3 күн бұрын

    Hello. The booster has its own internet. You need to get a SIM card for it and it creates internet like your phone. Overall, the booster does make a difference, but not always. On some campsites I’m better using my phone or the campsite wifi, and on others the booster. I tend to run a speed test when I arrive on site and see which is best. Currently, I’m responding to your comment using the internet for my booster. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

    Usual great video, always find them interesting and far better entertainment than anything on the TV! My question is the Duvalay. I have a Freedom Microlite which like the Pod is a micro caravan and as a single person suits me fine however, like the Pod, space is at a premium and uou have to be organised and have a place for everything so that the van doesn't look cluttered or feel claustrophobic. Where do you store your duvalay during the day? Is it a double or single size and how small does it fold up?🤔

  • @Roz.S

    @Roz.S

    4 ай бұрын

    The duvalay rolls up. I think they're all single, but they come in two thicknesses; comfort and compact. The compact one rolls up a bit smaller, but I went for the comfort one because I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to get no more back pain. In the day, I use to roll the duvalay up and put it in the van and then get it back out again at night. I soon got sick of this, so now I just roll it up and put it on one side of my seating area. Mainly because I wanted to keep my small Citroen Nemo van. It's a great little van, mechanically sound (just passed mot with no advisories) and only got 34k miles on her. If I got a campervan, I would have had to sell Citroen Nemo, and the campervan I got would most probably be an older vehicle with more milage. So, I opted for a caravan - but it had to be a small one since the Nemo can only tow up to 1000kg. Plus, once I've pitched on a campsite, I like having a little vehicle to still be able to exlpore in. Hope that helps explain. Glad you enjoy watching my videos.
