Hello Katja, cool video. I will pick up the Joel Meyerowitz book this evening :-) Last year I picked up books by the following photographers: Rodney Smith, a fashion photographer with a surreal look. Saul Leiter, All about Saul Leiter. Sean Tucker, Vol III. An amazing street photographer who also has a KZread channel. Recently the following photographers I only just discovered even though they've been at this for a very long time. Lol: Harry Gruyaert & Daido Moriyama. Next month I am looking forward to the re-release of Fan Ho’s A Hong Kong Memoir, been after this book for such a long time and will have it on the 18th of March

@@katjafeldmeier Hi Katja, hope you are well. I received "How I Make Photographs" two days ago and I'm loving it. What I love about the book and Joel Meyerowitz is that he's not telling you what to do, but the more feel it if you understand what I mean. It's like he's on the journey with you I'm not teaching you.

What do u think about David Sprigle photography and Petra Collins Fairy Tales book

I’m not familiar with Springle‘s work yet. As for Collins, I admire her creativity and vision to evoke otherworldly narratives and alternate time lines. I don’t have her book, but I do love some of the images that I have seen from it.

Really enjoyed this video I especially loved the first book of Martin Parr all the good shots look awesome together and I agree with what you said that if they were on their own they would be unremarkable or not make sense but together with repetition they are really something. Also nice to see a female on KZread discussing photography! 🎞😊👍🏻
