carnivore diet - i just met with 5 old high school friends. One was a retired doctor (we're all over 70) 4 of the 5 of us had independently gone on the carnivore diet. My best friend in high school had lost 80 pounds. I only lost 20. I eat all i want. Start my day with 5 eggs and 1/4 pound of hamburger. Its like trying to tell people about the best heat and air system and few listen.

I had the same problem with fish oils until I found a good one. Omega XTS is ultra purified using molecular distillation. Being extra clean seems to remove the negative side effects you mentioned.

I'm 52 and decided to make dietary changes this year. I cut out sugar completely and for several weeks was almost straight carnivore. Started TRT as well. At 5' 11" and 205-210 lbs, I was completely unmotivated and always lacking energy. I don't have starting numbers, but I have started to go to a local supplement store that does a body assessment scan with the machine that shows weight and body fat percentage. My first scan, several weeks into this lifestyle change, showed a 14.8 body fat percentage. The second scan at the beginning of this month was 14.4, and the last was 13.2 at 193.6 lbs fully clothed while maintaining a skeletal muscle mass of 94.8. Statins will cause your muscles to ache and can be dangerous to some people due to Rhabdomyolysis.

@@Challenged1 I have an old chicken coop that I want to make a storage building. It is like yours with straight legs. Did you find any engineering numbers in the trusses? It sounds like the county I'm in could be difficult

@@24vignettes94 I did not find any numbers on the the trusses. I did, however, draw up some plans for the trusses, and then stamped them with my engineering license. My county wanted a stamped set.

Believe it or not, pretty low stress. My kids are the most stressful thing around, and they aren't that bad.

don't feel bad man but I can tell your body is holding on to too much of something, you're definitely intaking something you shouldn't be, probably soy would be my guess. unsolicited advice: continue your homestead project videos like geothermal, you are very wise in that arena and build your family up properly - you will likely sustain income from youtube alone with enough of a following toward that... and maybe look into getting a holistic nutritionist instead of your typical pharmapill doctors.

All I'm hearing is excuses!!! Do the P90x exercises 5 or 6 days a week but only do half the exercise, so 45 min.

The bioidentical testosterone cream is safer than the injections. The injections cause problems downstairs in the long run but it gets those numbers up faster. You'll need an estrogen blocker if on any TRT. Get the hell off the statins, they are poison. I'm a 63 old bodybuilder & trainer from the golden era, weightlifting is my life. Are you going to LS swap the C10?

Thanks for the input. Last week, I did a 48 hour fast followed by a complete switch to a carnivore diet. I'm down 10 pounds as of this morning. I'm feeling more energetic too, so I'm hoping to reduce the amount of testosterone needed, as well as get rid of the statins. No LS, just a trusty 350

When you had low T could you still drive and do math?

@@Challenged1 ?? I subscribed to watch your ICF videos (thanks! btw) and actually enjoyed this update. I hadn't heard about your journey but glad to hear you're feeling better. After spending the summer rebuilding a basement I want to work out with you too. I missed out on the 2023 challenge but think I've lost 15lbs lugging around concrete and rebar. That aside, I think someone was calling you "girly" for having low-T (and thus can't drive or do math). Is brain fog an actual symptom (as I suspect) or is this a stereotype I'm not aware of?

@@ChristopherCurtis Thanks for the comment. Brain fog is a very common symptom of low testosterone. I must admit, that is one symptom that has completely gone away since my numbers have come up.

@@ChristopherCurtis ...caught that too. ironically, the studies i've heard all point to women generally being better at math than men, with the area of geometry/volumetrics as the one exception. as for driving, statistics from ins providers show women have more minor cosmetic incidents, but men have far more major/severe crashes with injuries & totaled vehicles. weak jokes aside, lotta this sounds familiar at a few years older than Garrett, so i'll have to get some bloodwork done too.
