I’m a prime example of staying down till the come up. I came home to absolutely nothing! My mother passed while I was incarcerated & when I came out there was nothing waiting for me. I still had 3 years of probation to go into but I chose to do what got me in there in the first place. I just didn’t go as hard. Literally, 2 months before I was set for release from probation I caught a case. My PO stemmed from CT but I was living in NY, & they were dying to violate me & send me to max out. My P.O. caught a liking to me & basically refused to violate me. She stalled them & managed to get me released with no problems. Due to the pandemic the courts weren’t killing niggaz unless you committed a violent crime. They basically gave me a slap on the wrist & sent me on my way. I took that as a sign from the universe, left NY, left the game, left my past life behind. Today I have a job, a home, a car, my wife, & I’m on my way to greater things (god willin). Take the signs. Take the hints that life/ the universe is going to give you. & don’t be scared to be behind a bit. Some times being behind is to avoid what’s coming to those ahead of you. Never play catch-up & move at your own pace. May god bless you all & stay strong 💪🏽💯‼️

Maino is always a great interview, but this might be his best interview ever. Definitely one of the best interviews I've seen on Expert Opinion. Math Hoffa is in a zone. His supporting cast need to stay for each episode going forward. Maino's story is very inspirational and unique. He's very smart and strategic which is why he's accomplished so much since being home.

Can’t say for anyone else but for me this was very inspirational. His honesty rings through and I identified with his story. This should be viewed by others needing that extra push to keep going. Bless
Great conversation . Props to MAINO being vulnerable and telling his story

GREATEST!!! My Expert Opinion Interview by far Maino is one of the REALEST G’s of all time stand up humble most genuine G of all time a real Legend, give this man his flowers while he here 🙏🏽💯‼️
I believe that Manio had a divine intervention. Personally, back in the day Manio was not a person I've gravitated to in a personally way. I will say Manio hard. I respect the game that comes from a brother like him. His story sound like he never had a powerful male presence in his life...that can do something to young black boy transitioning into man. I also want to say to Manio, you found the torch. The light of that torch will remain burning as long as you continue going down those dark paths. Because you come from that era, hard realistic encounters your commandments reach a whole entire group of fans. You know your worth now. keep'em coming. you've created longevity. stay in Power my brotha!

@15:50 I feel him about the guys coming home who went in as kids. I pray for all the homies depressed and stressed and think they can't catch up because social media is showing the baddies and dudes in the big flashy cars. Take your time and with enough fight, you will get there. But pleaaaase do not commit another crime for the easy route and lose your life sitting in a cell. You are young enough and still alive to change. But you are not young enough to do another 15-30 in the bing. I was one myself who made it. Thank god
Great talk. Big shout out Maino

Amazing. He needs to rewatch this. He said a lot about the way he was thinking along his journey. The way he was thinking is the reason "why me". He thought his way out of a lot wickedness and those thoughts ordered his steps. He should write a book and lecture to give hope and allow others to see their way out.
Absolutely my favorite podcast i watch every episode thats new and im in the process of the earlier episodes keep it going and im so happy yall put new batteries in the smoke detector shit was driving me nuts🤣🤣

This interview is why this is the greatest hip hop podcast period. Hit me on so many levels. That survivor's guilt runs so deep when you make it out. The depression that you fight and hide while trying to make it out. Shoutout to the vulnerability here, real man shit. Shoutout to Math for creating this platform.
