Hands down Mike is the epitome of what black men are and can be when given a chance to show just how different most of us are. And I'm proud to say that because one day the tides will turn and it will be people like he who will change the narrative and bring all of us closer together as people ❤️ 💯🙏 None of us are perfect by any means but we turn bad into good and tragedy into triumph!

God bless whoever sees this interview it might be for a reason 🙏

I love how people are amazed that he's articulate and "intelligent" as if that is a rarity. He wouldn't be on here being interviewed on always invited by Bill Maher, or another show if he didn't have and interesting perspective. Being an artist alone takes talent, intelligence and certain level of genius that most humans don't no matter where they come from.

I don't think it's about being amazed. To me, it's about appreciating his ability to articulate a perspective that we haven't heard very often and make it universal. I feel like people thinking that MIke being called "articulate" as a back-handed compliment loses the plot. I'll use that exact same term, but I mean it as a "thank you" to him for opening up a part of humanity that me, as a dude from the north, wouldn't have otherwise understood. I'd have a few beers and talk life with MIke any day.

For a rapper it is generally a rarity to be as intelligent and articulate as he is. Those that occupy that community generally tend, as least in the past and in his era, to come from rougher or less affluent backgrounds without great educational infrastructure in their communities.

@@723taylorjharrisI'd like to know which rappers especially in his peak era, are not intelligent?? Even with all the bull crap they have to endure that other music genres don't they still power through. 😂😂it's laughable when you put great education & USA in the same sentence.. The world laughs at how uneducated we are as a whole. They claim we're endocunated

7:26 It’s crazy. I have to quit a job tomorrow I started last month tomorrow, and Mike gave me the perfect reason to provide my boss for leaving. I was feeling guilty about it because it’s great money and my time there has been fantastic, but it’s not something I want to do for the rest of my life because my life calls for me to be something greater. An honest living is an honest living, but given by education level it ultimately boils down to where I know I can make the most impact. 👊🏽✊🏿

I gotta admit, I've never really been a fan of Killer Mike. But it's probably because of the fact that I really didn't know much about him. But after this interview, I am 100% on board and can say I am a big Killer Mike fan. He is so intelligent and charming. And I'm sure it's due to being raised by wonderful people with great values. I particularly loved his response when asked why he didn't vote for Hillary Clinton (Hilarious). And I also gotta admit that the thing I love the most about him is his political knowledge, it's amazing!! So Killer Mike, I definitely 100% believe that you should run for office, any office. As long as you're in there fighting for us regular folks. And lastly, it's gotta be said "KILLER MIKE FOR PRESIDENT!!!"

@carolinahogan2071 To be completely honest, I ain’t know who tf Killer Mike was until a little over a year ago. I have no idea how tf that’s even possible given that I was born and raised in the south and lived in Atlanta, GA almost 5 years during his heyday. But all of that is besides the point. What I can say about the man is that I admire him for many reasons. He’s intelligent, wise, articulate, an entrepreneur, family man, and in addition to being ambitious he is also a true “Man of The People”. It’s quite refreshing to discover just how intelligent and well spoken he is given his profession, but equally notable is his political commentary. I think he would make a great politician because he really advocates for the betterment not only of our people, but for all people. Real stand up guy 💯 👍🏽

The 3 d's r more important than the 3 three's in 30 secs. As I heard someone said out of the mouth from being at a basketball game. That phrase was simply amazing to hear n it stuck with me to be honest. About a star player on the ATL Hawks team. U probably know what player that I'm referring to. Anyone knows the starter guy with the Frosty the snow basketball baller. With the great long range shooting he does. Wae of the Trae!! 😊😊😊
